I would suggest patch gonna come out at 27-th of march. From 27-th to 29-th of march free to play weekend's (for DLC if there's gonna be one).

 

It is really nice to read how many are questioning new tracks. But the one track not many people are mentioning about is Brno Circuit. An awesome and underrated track that would be cool to have in AMS2

 

Reiza will late until the last minute to release the update. It will be after PMR releases v2. Reiza likes to release updates strategically as they have in the past.

Reiza will release the update to remind everyone that AMS2 is, in every way, far superior to PMR and anything they can do we can do better. Including updates.

 

Yes, their strategy has always been "Releasing when it is finished". They do not care what other games or game updates come out, never did and at this point likely never will. I remember how some people were panicking before AC Evo came out and 1.6 was still not released there were posts like "People will move to AC Evo and AMS2 will be abandoned if 1.6 does not come out now !" ... 1.6 came out after AC Evo, people left AC Evo, people stayed with AMS2 and more people joined AMS2 as well.

 

Well not always. The LMDh category was not finished when it was released and has been updated to work properly (mgu and how it works related to the combustion engine). But in general reiza releases new things in a proper state, that's true. Luckily.

I would say that Ams2 have the most strongest track list I saw in a game (not AC1 with mods )

 

Brno is implemented thru mods iirc.

 

It is, and for a mod track, it’s solid enough to get an alright race going with the ai, but unfortunately a lot of the ai lines have them heavily cutting the corners and hitting all of the traffic drums onto the road pretty consistently and they’re not that great in general. It doesn’t completely ruin the race since it’s not a solid barrier they crash into or anything so they can keep driving on like nothing happened and the difficulty can be cranked up to find a competitive pace but still not ideal. Would be nice to have an updated Reiza version where the ai/ai lines can be worked on for a better/more immersive racing experience but I still think it’s in a good enough state for now that I’d rather see tracks that aren’t available as mods be added to the game first before worrying about this one being put in.

Oscherschleben, Zandvoort, Portimao, and Lime Rock, along with a little more variety for the oval side of things with Charlotte plus the Roval, Martinsville, and Darlington would be my personal wishlist of tracks I would love to have added before AMS2 is finished. Zolder would be up there too if it wasn’t already a mod track but I still think that a Reiza version of that track would be incredible to have as well.
