Automobilista 2 2026 Development Preview

ReizaStudios. To celebrate the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, here's a never-before-seen look at the Renault R25 and its unleashed V10 engine on the Circuit d'Azur for a few laps! This video is part of the June development update, which will be released later today and relates to the upcoming release of Automobilista 2 V1.6.9.8, scheduled for next week.

Excuse me, but I'm not clear on this. The "June Development Update to be released later today"—will it be available to everyone, or is it only accessible to "beta" users or something like that?
I need to know if I'll be able to play with this new version today and tomorrow.

 

Dev blog will come later today, here on The forum for everybody, like always. The updat it self will launch sometime next week, expect towards the end. I really think you have the dev blog, beta builds and official game updates mixed up as to what is what. I hope this clears it up for you.

 

Dev updates arent the update themselves, its just a blog post on here talking about what's coming in the next update.

According to the description of the video, the actual update will be available publicly some time next week

Love that engine sound. I remember walking up to track for my first F1 race and hearing that sound . Then taking my seat on start line being deafened by sound. After 30 seconds I had to use ear plugs as my ears we’re hurting.

 

I read this this a few post before: "The mid-racesaves are what I'm looking forward...".

I heard that in future AMS 2 updates saving would be possible. But i thought the Player can save when WE want - so, everytime in a Race. Now it should be ONLY in the middle of a Race???
This would be really disappointing...;(

I plan a long time a go to drive Endurance WEC-Races in the game and now we should only save in the mid...?

 

maybe this is a language issue, mid can mean in the middle, but it can also mean anywhere between the beginning and end. the vagaries of the English language.

 

Is anything known when the saving feature comes to the game?

 

No. Unless reiza is giving us details nobody knows next releases and what is included.
