I completely agree with Renato's initial thoughts. AMS2 is primarily a single-player experience for motorsport enthusiasts and casual gamers who want to have a good time recreating races. In short, AMS2 is tailor-made for me, and I'm very excited about what's to come.

I’d be happy to purchase another “season pass” to support you. I know I don’t have the time to support Beta development since that’s a part of the paddock club (and I don’t need to do beta access unless you’re looking specifically for Linux testers)

You don't have to be part of the testing. You can purchase the paddock pass and basically just use it like a season pass for the rest of the life of the game.

It's the best investment I ever made.

It was available some time ago, pay a onetime fee to get all the DLC as it is released. And you have access to the beta. I am a Paddock club member as well.

Great to see the new content and the mid race save option :). Basically I can already do that on the Steam Deck with sleep mode.

Pretty much all of the post was encouraging to read, but these right here are the magic words. I feel a wide range of car performance is vital for a good singleplayer experience, which is why 80-90% of my simracing time is spent with Woochoo's 1954 and 1967 endurance carsets for rF2. The amount of value this adds to the game is enormous.

It's like fight club. And you don't talk about...

Well, we do talk about Paddock Club. A lot.

And there's no screaming and punching and kicking... Well, maybe there is during the multiplayer events, I don't know since I haven't taken part in those.

Okay, come to think of it, it's not like Fight Club at all.

But it's cool and well worth your money. Pinky promise. :D

I am super stoked about this big roadmap. But I still have fingers crossed for Ford Mustang GT3 to arrive one day!

Here is hoping we finally will have Opel in the game.
btw the Formula V8 Gen 1 is based on the Honda from 2006, the Gen 2 is based on the Force India from 2008

Fantastic news! Huge thanks to Renato and the whole Reiza team for their hard work and never-ending passion.

Although AMS2 is my go-to sim, I also try others from time to time (AC Evo, for example). But then I fire up AMS2—of course in VR ;)—and within just a few seconds a grin spreads across my face that no other sim manages to bring out. In that moment, I know I’m home. :)

As a single-player guy, I really can’t wait for the Career Mode. I’d be more than happy to try early versions, at least in beta, and I don’t mind losing progress during that development at all.

I know that different players have very different expectations when it comes to a career mode. Personally, I belong to the old-school crowd with fairly modest demands. I’m already happy if there’s simply a sense of progression through a linear set of pre-defined races.

It might sound strange, but sometimes I actually struggle to choose a race setup with this huge amount of cars, tracks, conditions, rules, and so on. In those moments, I’d much rather just start the game, click “Continue Career,” and focus solely on giving my best in the race I’m supposed to complete. No worrying about car/track combinations, no setting up weather or rules—just race.

I also really like the idea of unlocking new cars, tracks, and events simply by progressing through the career.

What I personally don’t need in a career mode is team management, financial management, strategy layers, networking, and similar features. For me, that’s a different type of game—a management simulator—whereas I mainly just want to race.

I know that in many modern games, a career mode includes exactly those management elements, and I understand why many players enjoy or even expect that. I just wanted to point out that there are also players who would already be very happy with a simple, linear list of pre-defined races to “work through,” without having to manually configure everything in such an overwhelming amount of content. For that, we already have a sandbox mode.

But maybe I’m the only one with such low expectations—already happy with a checklist of races to complete…

Incredibly hyped for the Super Touring content! The fact we might be getting multiple gens with the 94/95 BMW and the 96/97 A4 is awesome too! Though, if I may be pedantic; I think the A4 could use some tweaking on the model.

Real life Super Tourers had a very low, aggressive stance where the wheels were tucked deeply into the wells and about as slammed to the floor as was reasonable and I can't help but see that the A4 sits flush and high, making it look noticably off compared to its' real counterpart. I hope this is an easy enough fix to add because otherwise I think a very externally good looking model is hampered quite badly in the authenticity department. Hoping this same treatment would apply to any theoretical stablemates it would get too!
