SOOOOOO happy you guys were able to bring Formula USA 2023 back!! It was one of my most wanted things in AMS2 so I'm really beyond excited you're releasing it.

Also can't wait to play around with the new physics, hopefully they're as game changing as you're making them sound! AMS2's physics are the biggest complaint about the game as far as I'm aware so this should be a really welcome change. Awesome stuff guys, keep it up!

 

It would be a shame for one of the best fictional circuits to be trapped behind a dead series. It had some unique, tricky corners. If they really made a deal to bring the track over, I hope Wildcrest RX does as well.

I'll never understand why people want any part of the GP track... I always prefer the tourist version because it cuts out that version... The GP track is ok, but it ruins the flow of the great northern loop...

Thankfully we now have the Gesamtstreke so I can drive the circuit how it was originally designed...

 

I still remember the day I booted AMS2 for the first time, when it was available as a very Early Access title in 2020.

It was.... disappointing because it felt a proto-Project Cars 2 without the good stuff about it, but also promising as we knew the title would evolve over the years.

And wouldn't you know it, AMS2 is my current favourite sim and my top 1 most played title in Steam and seeing how the sim evolved and improved is just amazing! Such a journey and one that still seems to have a long way to go.

And I always knew MADNESS was something amazing, it just needed the right people with the right minds and hearts to make it one of the best pieces of software out there.

 

It is pretty amazing how far its come. Reiza should launch the 1.0 boot files as a April fools day prank or something.

 

KEKW.. That would be a cool reminder to the Karens around about how far AMS2 has gone since its beginning and since PC2

 

I vouch for that idea! Not because I think it'd be funny but because I'm into the history of games/their development and think preserving the older builds for people curious on how the sim was in its infancy to come back to would be neat

It's really looks like just a soap box racer with an engine.

Speaking about the early access, this was the first video i have seen of AMS2. It certainly kept me away from the game for the longest time.

 

it's just unbelievable what you do with this Madness Engine. I just can't say that often enough. Unbelievable,. unbelievable, unbelievable. You keep what SMS promised. I'm not a big open wheeler fan and actually more of a SimDriver than a real pro racer....but when I hear physics update and Reiza in one sentence....then my next "unbelievable" isn't far away. AMS2 started out humble and is now my favorite Sim OutOfTheBox.

Bravo!

 

I Wonder what the limit is of its capabilities

 

I have said before that Reiza could probably get the rights for this track for free.
It is called Circuit Goodyear Colmar-Berg in Luxemburg and there is even an old part with a very steep banked corner (ala old Avus)

ByTheWay: No other sim has this circuit.

 

Karts seem to be testing the limit of what's possible, but maybe we'll have less of the weird bouncing and "You're spinning up your fronts" comments from Crew Chief in AMS2 v1.5…
Aside from that, I guess the limit is at motorbikes

 

Just curious about this part....is Madness Engine a combination of Seta model + PMotor from the beginning (here the similarities with AMS1) or was something introduced by Reiza guys?

First of all I would like to say thank you for your extraordinary way of interacting with your community. I would also like to say that I am touched by the story about Ilja and wish him all the luck in the world for his situation and a great happy ending.

I am reading these lines with great attention and I only hope that we will see something of this soon, since it has been announced for a very long time.
