I got a question, does the AI not take crash damage? It seems like they either DQ or return to the race without pitting after a massive pile up.

 

Hi community, first of all I would like to thank the REIZA team for their wonderful work. The game is simply wonderful.
Can you in the next updates :
1) Have the complete results of the participants even if they do not finish the race, because for the moment they disappear from the final result if they disconnect.
2) Modify the mod replay: to be able with the cursor to put where you want in the time and not to have to accelerate the race to arrive at the right time of an action. ( for a fia)
3) the manual safety car controlled by a player
4) + official F1 circuit
The game is really great and we plan to use your game for a F1 ultimate gen2 championship from September.

What you are asking about the replay probably wont happen anytime soon, if it will ever happen, the engine limits the option to just jump to a certain point on the timeline, a whole rewrite of the replay system would be necessary if i am correct.

Its nice however that you drop your wishlist, you do understand things will take time, some more then other, and F1 tracks are already in ams2, any other tracks cost money to license,which i dont think is cheap.

With regards to having the complete results, even with those that are disconnected i would suggest to use a dedicated server, as that registers also the people that dropped out.

A pace car is said to be coming at some stage, not sure if we will be able to drive it ourselves.

 

1) Yes... a complete race log would be nice. Not just for league sake, but with an option to denounce, blacklist or anything else that would be possible to punishes bad players.

2) It appears to be undoable with this game engine. But would be amazing if possible.

3) I think that more options are always better, but I don't take it as a priority.

4) There are plenty of them, even if with different names (as Cascais = Estoril, Cote d'Azul = Monaco and Kansai = Suzuka). A total of 10 tracks from current calendar plus 11 others (that I know, because there are some venues that I'm in doubt about) that were used in the past... and some others that were never used but are fit to the job (as Brasilia, Curitiba, Daytona and Goiania). But I don't know if investing in current season would be a $good$ idea for Reiza.

 

Manual safety car controlled by a player is a feature in raceroom. In AMS1 you could drive a camaro with a lightbar (although i think as part of the camaro class, technically partaking in the race as a multiclass opponent although i cant remember for certain)

They definitely do take crash damage, but sometimes they'll choose not to pit for it, most obvious is in the formula cars if they lose a rear wing but stay on track without pitting

I thought Rule 1 of doing not-so-legal stuff was to not brag publically about doing it, you might as well paint a giant red target on yourself and run around naked screaming for the police at that point

 

Tbh, if any anti piracy department is keeping an eye at Page 26 of the Reiza Studios August Development update, they kind of deserve to catch someone.

 

There is a band called Running Wild that only do thematic songs praising the piracy (the real one... where people got murdered, enslaved and things like that, not only a fatso downloading his videogames on his gramma's basement)... they did a very pissed interview, were they took their panties through their heads, crying to people stop pirating their albums.

About pirating videogames, I don't care what people do since they don't pirate AMS2... if someone pirate AMS the Exu KomiKu will visit him at night.

Somewhere between Friday and Sunday this week should be a relatively good bet I think. Not sure how hard they're crunching currently; maybe at the end of this week there's going to be the RC and then the week after (3rd of September) it gets officially released.
