Automobilista 2 August 2022 Development Update

Me thinks that v1.4 is going to make AMS2 seem like a new game. I already have the most hours in this sim and I don't see that changing any time soon.

You gotta love Reizas dedication and hard work they put in. A small team and they push out updates and improvements faster than anyone else.

I just hope that at some stage they are not noticed by a large developer / publisher and bought out like SMS and codies were. That has not exactly gone well for them!

 

Something tells me this is a new dawn for AMS2 and are we about to see the love it deserves.
Can see a lot of people are gonna see that vid and be very impressed

 

My main trouble at this moment is to get them BACK to it.

 

That story is not even close to an end, since EA themself might very soom be taken over by one of the really big players....Amazon, Microsoft or Sony.

This all sound really good! For the next update I hope Reiza makes improvements to controller support and make it as good as it was in AMS1 like they promised. If they include the option to completely disable the controller filters that cause input lag that would make the game much better for those of us who can't use wheel and play with controller.

I feel we gonna get another video for the Racing USA part 3.
It would be dope to have a video presenting oval rules with the pace car, and so on.

My biggest question of the update at this point, is where ahistorical do the small wings get used on the Formula cars.

Congratulations on the very very professional and enticing video! I’m sold on that video and I’m sure many many others will be too! I don’t usually get excited for updates, but that video got me pumped and I’m sharing it everywhere.
Amazing video guys, it feels like this is AMS2 V1.0 proper and I’m really excited for 2023, mainly for the multiplayer and AI single player experiences being massively improved!
It’s been a long haul and I do truly want this sim to succeed, for it to be one of the big boys and a regular in a lot of streamers and players sim rotation, including mine!

 

I think a safe bet would be to stop interpreting and trust what has been communicated.

 

The video looks great, makes me think that Monza oval layout might be the surprise. Parabolica anyone?

 

I believe Renato said Spa 2022 coming out with 1.4 was the surprise, but I would love to be wrong
