Automobilista 2 August 2022 Development Update

As far as Australian circuits go, it's very hard to look past Phillip Island.
I could do this all day in something historic or old school.

But I also agree that Surfer's Paradise and the new Melbourne GP layout are awesome as well.

 

Phillip Island is high on the list, but the more obscure ones that I think would be a fun fit, there's Calder Park and Oran Park, the former still exists but is mostly unused professionally, and the latter doesn't exist.

 

I hope we get Portimao in AMS2 because it is like going on a rollercoaster.

Over the last two years Reiza has been releasing one average 1 track per month ( if I count historic versions as different tracks and different configurations as the same track). This means that likely there are already 1-3 tracks with a lot of work on them made (incl the old Nurburgring). Just FYI.

 

I wonder if there's going to be a dev update at the end of the month or not since we haven't heard much in a few weeks

 

I would expect one if they get the Racin USA Part 3 DLC content sorted. But who knows how long that will take.

I'm waiting for somebody to make a joke about the final piece of content of the 2020-2022 season pass being released sometime in late 2023. But hey, a season pass that covers 4 years of DLC is a good thing, right?

 

Reiza released three paid DLC packs in 2020 and another three in 2021. They have released no paid DLC in 2022 (while a bunch of free content was added), but let's assume generously that Racin USA Part 3 will somehow get released before the end of year. That still leaves six DLC packs to be done, so I don't see how they can deliver even the originally promised "2020-21" DLC packs until the end of 2024 with the current pace.

 

Racing USA is not part of the base game. It is paid DLC. Like all the other paid DLC released so far, it's part of the season pass. But it's still paid DLC.

 

It's quiet, too quiet.

The Lister Storm actually raced a couple of endurances in the early 2000's here in Brasil, could be a good excuse to have it haha
