Yes, but it's hard to say which effect causes it on your wheel.
At the top you can turn them on off one by one to see which one causes it.
Would be good info to know for your wheel type.

    Cheers!

@Karsten Hvidberg / @NuScorpii there may be a, perhaps inconsequential, typo in your latest file (Liberate 'Rev2' from post #106), which was introduced in the evolution from 'Control is Power' to 'Great Power Means More Control'. For the moment lines 439 & 453 in Liberate 'Rev2' are no longer equivalent?:
    439 : (FL_load_smooth (smooth FL_load 0.002))
    453 : (FR_load_smooth (smooth FR_load dt))

Many thanks for your ongoing efforts!

    Nice catch, thank you!
It should not have a noticable difference, but good to correct it anyways, as it def. is wrong.
(It's corrected now & will be right in next update. The correct value for both is 0.002, btw).

    Cheers!

As a former G27 owner, it's probably the road noise. Anything that causes a vibration when the wheel is centred and not under load can potentially cause the trademark G-series rattle. My neighbours rejoiced when I finally upgraded to a belt-driven wheel.

@Karsten Hvidberg Addition to the opening post looks great - thanks man!

Sorry guys for the lack of feedback on my part - just been really busy the past few days. Didn't even get to turn a lap today again. I did try several of the new files yesterday though for a bit and I did notice a consistent issue for all the files that I tried, which what that there was considerably too much heaviness in the wheel in medium corners when the car was loaded. I'll try to make some time tommorrow to dig into this a bit more.

I think it might be the center fix? Is the issue still there if you disable that?
I plan to change the way it works to make it lighter outside of light loads.

    Cheers!

I've been tinkering around with the LIBERATE file on my G29 and ended up with something I'm personally happy with, so I'll share it here. To give some context, I do like the default in 9.5, but find it just a little smooth and understated, especially on kerbs. With LIBERATE out of the box, my G29 was a bit grainy and rattly, losing much of the subtlety of default, so I wanted to dial it back a bit. The rationale with this file was to add as little as possible to default, but just enough to add that little sprinkling of texture to make it feel a bit more like being inside a racing car. I started by tuning the default with the sliders and ended up with 80/80/80 as feeling best, so I wanted to make the custom file work best with those settings too. The kerbs are now more noticeable but still subtle, and the scrub is there but again not easy to notice, but I think our hand and brain is able to pick up on pretty fine clues.
This has been tested almost exclusively with the Stock V8 at Jerez, so it may be terrible with a different combination, but it's a starting point for G29ers if anyone is interested.
Based on 80 gain, 80 LFB and 80 FX

I might skip this one, pretty happy with your previous:p:p:p By the way, do you guys @NuScorpii and @Karsten Hvidberg have real-life racing experience? That is definitely a plus when developing kerb and srub feel o_O

I use a TS-PC, and tested several of the custom-ffb files provided here.
I like the default FFB settings over al these custom files, the custom files make me feel i'm only connected with the road and not with the car i'm driving . they add rumble and make me loose the feeling of direction an weight of my car.

I only have track day experience including some single seaters. IMO the kerbs are too weak in the default, but how much of that in RL is coming through the steering vs the car body it is hard to say. The scrub effect I would say is firmly on the side of added effects. It's helpful in working out what the car is doing, but they are a replacement for the other "seat of pants" cues you will be getting in a real car.

    Awesome, will take a look!
Prob. will use to set these values as default for that wheel type in an update soon.

I used to have a ts-pc racer & I think you should try disabling just a few of the effects.
Prob. at least scrub, road details and maybe the new center enhancement work well for your wheel, I'm guessing.

    Butr Ty disabling: road_rumble_fx & maybe engine_enhance.

    Change this in the file:

    (road_rumble_fx 1.0)
    to
    (road_rumble_fx 0.0)

    and

    (engine_enhance 1.0)
    to
    (engine_enhance 0.0)

If that is better we will set default to off for those on that wheel base.

Only if you feel up for it, but it would be appreciated by other TS-PC racer users!

If you do, then try this on the latest update, coming in next post.

If you still don't like it, then try disabling all the effects & add in one by one to see which ones you like.

You might find that you like 1 or 2 of them?

    Cheers!

    Update:

Center fix has been improved, it now:
    * Adds force when going faster.
    * Is limited to smaller range, so not impacting higher forces (not spreading out impacting other things).

It should be a good advancement over the old one. It should additionally allow you to go lower on Lfb in game, in case you ha e wanted to do so, but could not bc of center issues. I'm now back at Lfb 1 on the dd.

Custom ffb file attached "Keep It To Yourself":

    @SaxOhare
Me also a TS-PC-User and haven't found something better as the Reiza default.Tested the latest file here with Karstens tips to disable functions, wich didn't do less.
Its more for the DD and Logitech useres i think.
Can you post your IN GAME ffb Settings for me to try?
    Many thanx

That' definitely the deadzone, i think from my old logitech you need about 1 or more to stop the shaking on straights.

    Hi Dady,

Did you try disabling them all?
Maybe start by that, so you can start from scratch & then only enable 1 that you think you might like & go from there?

I'm really curious if nothing improves the TS-PC experience.
I for sure would have thought at least scrub & maybe centering would feel good.
But also road details, I would have thought...

    Cheers & Thanks for feedback!

I think the latest "Unfortunate Circumstances" might help if you set the top section like this:

    (scrub_enhance 1.0)
    (road_details_boost 1.0)
    (center_enhance 1.0)
    (kerb_enhance 1.0)
    (road_rumble_fx 0.0)
    (engine_enhance 1.0)
    (smooth_rack_when_stand_still 1.0)
    (road_details_grip_feel_enhance 0.0)
    (road_bumps_mid_size_enhance 0.0)
    (road_soft_bumps_enhance 0.0)

Also make sure to run at low in game fx, like fx set to 1 or 10 or so.

Also I would try the one here: Automobilista 2 Custom Force Feedback - Overview & Recommendations

    Cheers
