If I win the yearly newyears-eve lottery I will donate 1% of it to Reiza. That's like 300.000 for Reiza.

As of 22nd of December, the beta was at V1.4.4.8, so now they're probably around or close to 1.4.4.9 ... one to go after that. No telling when that drops, but it should be in the next two weeks.

    Very unlikely before Dec. 31st.

You have received a key for the game+beta with your backing campaign sign-up, correct?

This key grants access to everything that will ever be released for AMS2.

Im sure many people would like to join the backing campaign, as it would become the de facto year 2 season pass for ams2.

I also would have lots to contribute to the testing process, although i’m not a physics or engineering guru so i cant inform if the cars are 100% realistic, but I guess other gameplay stuff is useful as QA process is very hands on for beta testerd

That's exactly what went through my head when I read it...

If there's no season pass 2023/24 then sign me up for the backing campaign...

Clever decision to encourage people to get new content.
I've given this game to a lot of friends with whom I compete from time to time. Recently, while trying to set up a private multiplayer race, I realized that almost all my friends had missed out on some of DLC just by being unaware of such. That made me realize the game itself doesn't tell you about new/old content in the best way therefore doesn't encourage the purchase of it unlike other more aggressive self-advertising games like R3E (although this one being a little too aggressive to my liking).
What if in future releases, all content we don't own (both tracks and cars) appeared in the game menu but grayed out so that anyone not so enthusiastic gamer knows what's missing in their main game just like most games do? Tracks with their respective preview screen shot and an in game purchase button of such content would be pretty beneficial to increase sells IMO.

Nice update! Bathurst 1983 was indeed a nice surprise - did not see that one coming at all.

About the Ring, well, better get it right than get it early, so that's fine with me. And it is rather a bit of road for the team to lay down, and for me to suck at driving once it's done, so there's no rush, pun not intended.

I am already in the "AMS2 Early Backing Campaign" and could already profit a lot from it. Is there a way for people like me who would like to give a donation as a thank you? e.g. a "Donate DLC" or something similar.

Honestly, as someone who has had long stretches of their life where money was a serious problem (hell I only managed to get a decent enough PC this year) it kinda sucked always seeing content you couldn't get being grey'd out especially if it's stuff you really want. So I appreciate how AMS 2 has been so consumer friendly in that regard.

In a world where you barely own anything, and the things you do own (and some of what you dont!) Is begging you to throw more money at it, it's refreshing to see a game not use those tactics. I'd much rather have a single invasive pop-up that I can just press close and be done with than a bunch of grey'd out cars and tracks.

I think what could work well for installing mods would be some kind of mod manager, external or in game, where people insert .zip archives of the mods they want to install and the manager does all the tedious things for you, like keep the boot files up to date and add lines to the driveline and vehiclelist files, plus the necessary files for track mods. Maybe something rFactor 2 uses.
