My version of this thinking is that that the Madness engine have both your socalled baked internal issues but also a lot of PC2 heritated bugs.
And a lot of newborn bugs created when Reiza tried to tweak this Mad engine.
But worst in my oppinion is that this game engine is NOT Reizas own creation so they will probably never get to know it 100% like if it was their own.
Indication of this is all the bugs they succed ironing out - but then does return after next socalled update.

 

Doesn’t that happen a lot? When a game gets updated, a older bug gets brought in again

To race these old iconic cars in a modern sim is a real treat. I cannot wait for this.

 

I have more time for EB than most other simracing YouTubers - his videos prompted me to buy Game Stock Car Extreme - but when he makes a video like that I wish he would supplement it with a detailed bug report in the Reiza forum. He is a Reiza forum member. It is difficult for Devs to repair/improve/verify anything without detailed information about the circumstances.

 

doubling the amount of coders does not double the output, speed and quality.
Just doubles the cost and lowers the revenue.
SMS had over 100 employees, but Madness engine and pCars series aren't free of bugs.
I think its better to be small, healthy and the revenue is good to keep the company alive for the future.

Actually, it might slow things down due to the additional communication and coordination overhead. This is one of the most common misconceptions about sw development which is behind many project failures throughout history

 

and says nothing.
Internal and staging tests happens daily.
Thats development.
beta users gets new builds since weeks. 2 or 3 times a week.
