Thank you for your efforts with this product in the year of 2025.
I commended you guys last year for your passion and your drive and as I thought it was close to coming to a halt I am so excited that it keeps on going and it only looks to get bolder and better!

On to 2026 for another amazing year of AMS2! Happy holidays

 

Can you look at the McLaren F1 in Supercars, ive reported this but even after the overhaul its still there, the arm of the driver (i think its when turning left) comes up and goes through the players (in VR) head. Only happens when turning one way, sorry cant remember which way.

 

the absence of a GT3 RS is weird to me, when you do trackday cars.

 

Notice how all the new cars are from brands AMS 2 has picked up these past few updates (Audi, Aston, Dodge, Maserati). Wouldn't surprise me if these were part of the deal to get these brands on-board with AMS 2

 

Finally i can soon start making Nascar liveries for US Stock Cars and not every other existing class in the game .

1992 Nascar Season will be the first livery pack i will do.
EDIT: And after that i will do 1987.

No new tracks with the stock cars? We could use some more ovals in the game (and their road courses )

yeah but still weird to me, as the GT3 RS is THE track toy and car for Nordschleife.

Probably safe to assume that livery/AI packs for the renamed classes will potentially be broken upon update and require revisions from the authors? Main one I'm thinking about is the excellent F1 2025 pack for the FUG2 (@KRRTDustin).

Outstanding looking content heading our way. Cannot remember being overly excited about road cars in AMS2, but the revisions to the existing and especially the Viper and Valkyrie are getting my mojo going. Hell, I haven't dabbled with ovals in AMS2 in a very long time, but [not] NASCAR content will certainly change that.

I'm an equal opportunity sim racer, but Reiza has been blowing my socks off for the last year or two between content and some very on-point revisions to the driving dynamics. There's just no way to have a bad time firing up AMS2.

 

So excited!

Is there any hope for the AI at the two LeMans variants to not get stuck being unable to pit during the "phasing" stage of the track and running out of gas?

 

If the folders are renamed you would have to move the livery overwrite files. But besides that the overwrite are referencing very generic livery numbers, so it shouldn't break by any internal class renaming

 

Sounds very good, eager to try the AI updates, it has been slowly improving but the AI as of now is still quite hesitant to make a move and the breaking zone tweaks might as well improve that. Curious about oval AI as well, it used to be criticized by the wider community with the Indycar DLC, I must admit I haven't really tested it though.

Since there is a new layout for the Nordschleife, may I ask if the AI can do an outlap skipping the Nordschleife in the combined layouts? I know there was a discussion that it might be coming at some point.
