Thank you for the very prompt and positive answer!
I was already a backer for AMS and recently upgraded my pledge for AMS 2.... I received a key for AMS along with AMS 2. Does that mean the AMS key I have is spare??
Hi, I hope is not a difficult question to answer but I'll try again:
When AMS 2 was going to be released in December, we had until December to acquire the game+season pass through the Early backing campaign.
Now that is set to March 2020, what is the deadline to be able to acquire AMS2 through Early Backing Campaign? (In my case is $90 as I'm level 2 backer)
Most likely until shortly before Beta is made available mid-to-late february.
I am Happy to back you up again with AMS2. Wishing all the best for the developement.
I have build a new pc (just for this ) ... Now, the waiting truly goes mad
Am i going to need more PC to run AMS 2 at 4k ultra with little aliasing ?
If you have Project CARS 2 you can test it there. Renato once wrote that if PC2 runs good on your PC there is a chance that AMS2 runs even a bit better IIRC. ;-)
Let’s hope you’re right.
Im more than happy to take one for the team if @Renato Simioni likes, to install the current build and do some performance testing for research purposes of course
I was thinking to pledge AMS2 but after watching all the videos on youtube and realized that you guys use the engine from my most hated company SMS and it will be not possible to use MOD's no go for me. I stay with my loved AMS, iRacing, rF2 But I wish you guys good luck.
Just done it, now waiting for.......... 2 come on guys
Maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge, that engine is one of the most advanced on the market and you can't dismiss something out of hand completely just because you are prejudiced against the company that made the engine. Plus modding would appear to be on it's way out across all the sim racing genre. There hasn't been a new sim racing game that actively supports mods since Assetto Corsa in 2014, that's 5 years ago now, if you hold firm on that front then you're going to be left behind. RF2 is the last bastion of mod support and that will not last forever.
Hello! Today I paid for early access and supported the Project - $ 119. But I still do not understand, I can’t play the beta version right now? I received the keys to the mail, but it says that I can’t play since the beta version has not been released yet ... Question tell me, is it just that I paid this money to wait?
Yes, just a little longer. The release date is rescheduled to March 2020 and as a result the beta release date to February 2020.
Interesting that they didnt change beta date in first post
Yes not updating the dates in the opening post to reflect the new release schedule was a mistake on our part @Daimodice . If this causes you to regret the purchase at this point please feel free to contact me via PM so we can work out a refund.
I think it's important to also empathize that the early access to AMS2 is just one part of the various perks you get if you join the campaign.
System says Im at level 3. I dont remember the offers before, what was required before to reach level 5 (any link to those previous offerings)?
