I tried Alpine, AMR GT3 and GTE…crafted to perfection! And new Nords is worth every (few) euros required. Just one note I’d like to share here: with this update, the GT3s seem to be sliding a bit too much again in tight corners. In my opinion, the late June and July updates had made the GT3s the best ever in the game, but now they feel like they used to. The GTEs, instead, still work very well and, in fact, from the changelog it seems they haven’t been revised. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks to anyone who replies.

 

Last night I did a fairly quick test of both the Aston Martin GT3 and GT4 on the Nords (tried both the 20 and 25 layouts). Compared to previous versions, I noticed the car now has a very light front end, which tends to oversteer. It almost feels like all the weight is concentrated in the center of the car. Unlike their counterparts in other sims, I don't quite get that sensation of having the "right" amount of grip. Curious if anyone else felt the same.

As for the content itself, hats off to Reiza — they've really raised the bar in terms of quality. Ever since the IMSA pack, there's been a noticeable leap forward. I won’t comment on the Nords debate, but I’ll say this: applying the 2025 mesh to the 2020 version is a gift, and one that should be appreciated. Reiza clearly cares about its player base and continues to treat them well. I do hope to see improvements in AI calibration in the future, something more in line with what's offered by recent competing titles.

What makes Nurbugring 2025 stand out against the updated 2020 version.? Not had the chance to try them out myself.

 

When I just drove there irl, from the little I remember, the track felt different, wider, corners tighter, campering different in places than what was the 2020 version, especially prior the mesh update, but the 2025 feels pretty much spot on. The 2025 changes for the track do make it different enough that it does affect the driving too.

when the joker lap is supported, that will also have huge quality of life impact for doing a qualifying session as you don’t need to do full Nords as your out lap.

 

I won't get to test this out for a while as we are on vacation but looking forward to trying it. I didn't get the chance to try the Valk on lmu before we went so I have that version to test also. For anyone testing has the multiclass ai gotten better or are they still getting stuck , I mainly noticed GT3 struggling with GT4 before as they hugged the rear bumper

Strictly visually not much difference. 2025 during a bigger race weekend with more tents and trackside, 2020 during a random day. But the new scan underneath can be a worthwhile, haven't tried yet.

Have you tried the AI? Is there any improvement? I know you also used to complain about the same thing as me around 1.6 launch.

 

For the visual improvements definitely not worth it from what I can see from the video, although it does look fantastic.

If the road mesh is the same with the updated 2020 and 2025 version and what can be felt of the road surface is the same, I think the only reason to buy this if you already own 2020, would be for the tourists layout.

Seems to me it would have been better to release this 2025 version as a free upgrade for those that own 2020 and then sell the tourist version as DLC, maybe packaged with some cars. I think that would have created less bad feeling about it and created a lot of Hype for the tourist version. Or maybe that would have upset people more...

 

The 2020 has also been renewed, so it looks similar to the 2025. You would have to compare it with the old 2020 version to see what has been improved...

 

Any update on actual dedicated servers instead of the current relay server which breaks if the wrong person connects first?
