It's obvious that @Seb02 was speaking about if AMS2 had mod support would be interesting for users to port stuff from PC2. This is a forum, what the hell are we supposed to do here if not talk and speculate what can or cannot be done with the game? We already know all the licensing stuff just chill out.

    In Dansk it says:

    Blomsten blomstrer i blommerne

    Og jeg synger nattergalen.

    Men jeg er alene

    En te

    Hvor mange erindringer

    Jeg husker

    Kirsebærblomster

En stille sø i gamle dage...

En frø hopper ned i dammen og...

    Splash! Stille igen.

    Basho.

    Første morgen.

    Selv min skygge

    Er fuld af vitalitet.

    Issa

    På vej til Shirakawa

    Pige sælger blomster

    Den første regnbue

    Shimei

    På vej

    Malven blomstrede

    Hesten spiste

    Basho (japansk banan)

    God tur!

To be fair, a lot of existing AMS2 mods are content ported from older Madness titles: I know there's a 250 GTO from PC2 and a Viper from Shift 2 somewhere around the internet

Lots of people are trying to learn here.

I was responding to the repeated claims that a modern open-wheeler wouldn't flip due to its aerodynamics.

Ofcourse an modern open wheeler flips in Nordschleife. The wing will generate lift like an airplane during the bump. That's how that Youtuber/Streamer crashed in 2015, or so, as well. Same like every powerboatcrash on open water.

See picture. It's for airplanes. Upside down it's for racing aka downforce, but it can generate lift in certain circumstances too.

I've been tempted to download that 250 GTO for sometime, all the other car mods for AMS2 are modern sport or super cars that doesnt quite interest me in sim racing, but it's cool someone figured out a way even without official mod support.

Like the famous CLK LMR too in Le Mans that was a mix of turbulence caused by following other cars, bumps in the road, short wheelbase and a massive rear wing that overwhelmed the front downforce and flipped the car in that circunstance.

I don't care much for mod cars since AMS2 already has a decent selection of cars, but if somebody ever figure out a way to port tracks from PCars2 into AMS2 I'd definitely be interested in checking it out.

I also think AMS2 is pretty well served of cars, but for example some categories have one or two cars, if some mods could make a more diversified grid in those cases it would be interesting.

I just wish some of the classes had manual BoP features. There are some fantastic cars that are effectively useless given another car in it's class is 1-3 seconds faster.

I still have trauma over how overpowered the Corvette C3 in TC60s was before they split it apart with the 2002 Turbo

Now this I agree with. I understand their goal was to make accurate speed differences for the years they were trying to emulate, but it does make them difficult to race sometimes.

Ah the 911 GT1 and the F1 compared to the CLK LM right? It's not like we can replicate how the 911 GT1 won Le Mans by not breaking haha. In AMS2 the 911 GT1 is at least very driveable, in PC2 it was a absolute wobbly death trap.

Yeah, exactly, that is a somewhat underhanded reference to iRacing, but that'd even be somewhat hard to get if you spoke German. It basically means something like the "grass titan from the US"

    A few...

    • GT4: McLaren outclasses all cars by a second at most tracks, at some others up to 3-4 seconds.
    • GT Classics: The Porsche outclasses the C3R in almost every way by several seconds other than maybe historic Monza where the C3R obliterates everything on the straights.
    • P1: The Ginetta is the best feeling car to drive, but it's significantly slower than the MetalMuros (the class is more balanced now than it used to be).
    • P2: This class is just horrible. The Sigma is an absolute piece of junk (IMHO, the rear on that car makes no sense), meanwhile the MetalMuro is a fantastic car that is unusable since the Sigma has more power and DRS.
    • GT1: McLaren is way off of the pace to the other two.
    • Copa Classics: The Chevette and Puma outclass everything.
    • Formula USA: The Reynard's with the better engine outclass everything. In some cases leading to the entire field running the same livery even though there are 5-6 variants in the class.
