ie Blowing the Procar clutch at start with damage off but mechanical failure on this has caught out a few already

 

Reiza has to make money, there was nothing to buy for 7 months.
and 9-13 Euros isnt much, especially if its great stuff like Racin USA 1 or the Silverstone pack.
i havent done anything in this game for a while, cause it felt lifeless. if the next content is great, im back making some skins.

Same here, but the main issue here is: The other two lost any interest... because... time... it's not 2020 anymore.
Add to this that Summertime is not a good time to sit in front of a overheating gaming Rig at 27°C room temperature.

 

Honestly Reiza could sell merchandise, like branded mugs and t-shirts, to raise money for the beer fund

 

Awesome work guys. The physics updates have been fantastic. The driving experience is so so good right now. Looking forward to the career mode and future DLC’s. AMS2 just keeps getting better and better!

 

Anytime is a good time, just race in your jocks and nothing else, or even better, naked. You might find it liberating resting the nuts and slug on your racing seat.

I do not think that this is selfish. I played ACC since DLSS and FSR were implemented and will only come back to AMS2, if they fix the lights issue or implement DLSS/FSR or I can pay for a 4090.

I would be happy to have a statement about this and if it is even possible for them to fix the lights issue or implement the features. Perhaps it is forbidden by the license of the engine or whatever. It would just be nice to know about this topic and I believe a lot of VR users feel the same. I mean even simply acknowledge the issue and the wishes of the community by saying "we hear you, but we cannot talk about it" would make me happy. But afaik there is not even a statement from devs. Or I can´t find it. For me it is just a shame that the potential of DLSS/FSR is not used in this awesome sim.

 

Have you tried the app Lossless Scaling? It's only a couple of $ on Steam and allows you to use FSR1.0 in nearly any game. I use it for AMS2 and it works like a charm. I run a 1080p setup, so I run AMS2 windowed at 1600x900 and use Lossless Scaling to bring it back to 1080p with just a slight softening of the image and a massive reduction in GPU usage.

I know this answer doesn't address the lights issues, but it might give your system a little more breathing space to cope with them.

 

Interesting seeing people forced to use ACC because of AMS2 running bad for them when I'm in the exact opposite situation (CPU limitation I believe? The inconsistent framerate and constantly fluctuating GPU usage lead me to believe that, shame since ACC is a great sim to drive but races just aren't doable for me), but anyway yeah, FSR would be really handy to have

 

Thank you very much for the tip! I already use the FSR mod for Dirt but to have an app for it sounds wonderfull. I will give it a try.
