Keep in mind, there is sequence and order in game development. Putting the cart before the horse won't help with forward progression. ;)

At least they installed something like the paddock club (on time?)... to divide the community in poor and rich as it seems with this comment... "we know things 'they' dont know..."

    muy simpatico.

The difference between buying the paddock club access and buying the dlc when it arrives is that we have no idea what the future dlc for ams2 will be like. When the dlc drops, you can choose whether to buy it or to not buy it.

The way i see it is that purchasing paddock club now is a long-term, financial vote of confidence in reiza’s decision-making and execution, and the privilege you earn from doing this is to have the opportunity to beta test the game and have more involvement in the development of ams2. This is expensive, but I think we are all old enough to make a decision for ourselves whether it is worth it.

There is always going to be a "divide into poor and rich" when a company offers their products.

If the pricing is too high for you and others can benefit because they have the money, yes, that sucks. But no company in their right mind can dish out things for free (and Reiza still do that, to a point).

I've driven a gamepad for years whereas others had a wheel. You could also argue this is a divide in rich and poor, but, well, that's the way it works.

And beta access, to me, is not predominantly about knowing things early, it's about being involved and as helpful as possible in propelling things towards a good direction.

    New content is always great

but for me it’s base things like mirrors working ,
Better ffb feel of front tyres ,
A VR replay system which will take away annoyances whilst using AMS2 & way more important than even more content

To add AMS2 has came on brilliantly over the last year do credit to the team

I've been poorer than other people as well in my life. I didn't go around pointing that out trying to make others feel bad.

Its not a conspiracy against the poor, its over 120 tracks and over 120 cars each with its own AI behavior, all tuned by weather conditions, and some futher tuned per track.

I know just scrolling through the menus, its easy to loose scope of just how freaking huge this game is. I certainly did several times in the past. But when you sit down and write it out, with every car and track, you suddenly realize how monolithic a task it is just to update all the cars.

Yep. We’re closing in on 30000 (thirty thousand) combinations, and that’s just cars and tracks. Way more if we were to factor in weather, time and date and multi class.

    EDIT: close to 35000 actually.....
