I thankfully don't work Fridays so have taken your recommendation on board (actually started before reading your post).
The downside is that "if" it drops later, I'll be too inebriated to drive.

My advice while we're all waiting- other games exist too, you know! I've been cracking open my backlog finally getting to some other games (racing or otherwise) I haven't finished and/or touched yet and it's been a lovely timewaster, beats mass-reloading and complaining on a forum page (I'm still making time to do that though, as you can see )

Also there is a sim that I suspect is of interest of many people here. It is under active development and will improve soon but the 1.4 version makes it already one of the best out there. I think it is called Automodelista 2 or something like that.

Ah yes, love me some Automodelista, not to be confused with the cel-shaded Japanese PS2 racing game, Automobilista of course ;)

    So true.
I've been tearing it up in Dirt Rally 2 just to feed my craving for dirt.

    Side note....
Trueforce on the Logitech DD is out of this world and the best ffb I have ever experienced.

If Reiza is having difficulties with it. Check DR2 for inspiration

    Time.

Such an elusive concept, time is. It passes constantly, sometimes unnoticed, sometimes stretched to oblivion, every tick of the clock a reminder of the ongoing wait, of the ongoing struggle.

The word "waiting" is interconnected with the concept of time like nothing else, with its eerie abilities to stretch out the worst moments the longest.

Mr. Simioni knew that, even before it happened. He'd known of his ability to stretch what was another persons hours into unspeakable timeframes by the simple act of refusing to type.

People who knew him still shudder upon hearing the word "proofreading".

But it wasn't enough, to him. He was relentless in most things he did, but when it came to time, he refused to accept the concept of limits. Too often he himself had been fooled by time, by it disappearing unnoticed and leaving him with missed goals.
Time, so he thought on every setback along his way, was his enemy, and every enemy needed defeating.

The day he decided he would end it was accompanied by a beautiful sunset illuminating a beach in the States. There was a document in his hands, a document whose contents would never be looked upon by any human being other than himself. To this day it's unknown what happened to it, but many are certain it was the key to his plan. Not necessarily what was in it - that was beside the point, the only thing that mattered was that there were people who wanted to know its content.

Smiling towards an uncertain point in the distance, he added another word, one he himself had crafted, drenched in the powers that had been granted to him. A word that would be true for a blink of an eye or an eternity, a word that time itself would not be able to stand against.

"Incoming", Mr. Simioni said before folding the document in his hands, hiding it even from his own view.

Time passed and didn't pass. The sun rose and fell, fingers hit the very same space again and again, but the word didn't lose any of its truth.

    Incoming.

    When?
This is not the right question. For "incoming" does not know when, nor does it know where. It's ever-moving yet ever-resting.

In the darkness of the void, time rages against the bane that rose before it, lunges towards the smiling Brazilian sitting on a beach in Florida, never quite reaching him, trying to take a moment back that will never be able to pass.

A couple of bad jokes while we wait
    Conjunctivitis.com, that's a sight for sore eyes.
Exit signs, they're on the way out.
I went for an ice cream the other day, he said "hundreds and thousands?" I said "no, just one please".
    I'll get my coat.

You see? I knew it.... This is what happens when the waiting takes too long; dangerous misinformation and ridiculous claims about so called "other games" that supposedly "exist". Oh and they'll blow up the lie to the tune of "just open Steam, you'll see, or there's millions of gamers out there playing all sorts of stuff!", that's part of the gaslighting we're dealing with here. Or outlandish tales about "real life", I've heard it all by now:D

The physics and handling side of that on top of just how great it all looks, appears really convincing. Like, insanely good just by looking. Also proper nice driving!

I'd like to have something like that for DR2 ffb, it's lacking in detail, especially on tarmac.
That won't be an issue with AMS2 ffb, though. ;)
