By the end of December this year, Halley's comet will have reached its aphelion and will then be "incoming". It will reach us in 2061. "Incoming" is relative for Halley's comet and for Renato's updates

 

Should be dropped anytime now I got bored and bought some ACC dlc and I don’t even like ACC

 

Actually, I don’t. AMS2 is the only thing that gets me going when I get up in the morning.

 

ok, since we don't have the update yet.. just made a 30min Race with the Honda Civic in the Copa Petrobras Marcas from AMS1.... that game still a masterpiece! also, whish we had those cars for AMS2, very fun to drive

 

That's the reason why i hope so much the Copa Petrobras Marcas série in AMS2 !

fair enough, i also think that the communications are sometimes terrible and thats one of the reason i wouldnt buy Paddock Access, cause you never know what you get and ESPECIALLY when you get it.

Reminder that the Season Pass was originally 20/21, then turned to 22 and now in Q3 23 we at last conclude it.
I was gonna make Kartcross skins, but i probably buy the DLC at a later date now.

It was always this way, there's just more of us in beta testing now. Reiza 51 was their backer campaign, and any Paddock Club member can attest that the previous beta testing threads are just as long as this thread or longer. I would guess the reason not to go to a public RC yet is due to how big the changes are. Almost every car has had physics overhauls.

As someone who played the release candidates as soon as they used to release, but it's a Paddock Club member now.... I can tell you for certain that the builds we've been testing have been much more buggy than anything that used to be in the RC. There's been a lot of bugs this round, especially some hilarious ones with AI. In beta testing, we just report it, enjoy how funny it was, and move on. If it got released in that state, reviewers see it and dump on the game for being broken. It's a question of "how soon vs. how much jank..."

 

You are paying for the past and future content. The Beta access is an extra. It's the other way around.

 

Usually there is always a good reason when Reiza delays something. We will probably only discover it once Renato is back from the US I guess.

 

Yeah that's what I think is going on, there is nothing for Reiza to talk about at this point. If I had to guess, something happened that prevented Renato from writing the dev update when he planned to and it was found out after that there was a decent amount of bugs in the latest beta build that made the "couple day" turnaround time impossible to meet. And not just minor stuff, for instance doing 60x Time Progression tends to break the replay system which requires a full game restart to get working again.

I think people are under the impression that the Dev Update is delaying the 1.5 update. But the exact opposite seems far more likely. There is absolutely zero reason for Renato to needlessly delay the dev update, the amount of people joining the Paddock Club because of this would be near zero. The amount of money Reiza would make just from one or two good reviews about the GT3 cars by big youtubers would be more. Not only because more people outside of the community would be willing to buy the game but also because more people on the fence about the Paddock Club would be willing to take the plunge.

 

This is just false. RC was not beta. They will release 1.5 to an RC just as before.

I've seen Halley's Comet in 1986. One of my life goals is to see it once again. this time with a bigger telescope
