If I remember right they were hesitant to provide their license for games with realistic damage models, believing players would perceive the brand as “unsafe” or some kind of other over-thought reason.

Weird cuz Raceroom got it and they aren’t exactly big, Assoluto racing also got it and they are a small mobile gaming company

 

But AMS 2 damage model is not that crazy iRacing got a much more insane damage model even for ford cars there and Raceroom also have a decent damage model and have fords

 

I saw it too. I was 22 at the time. I also saw the total eclipse of the sun (a rare occurrence) from my backyard in Melbourne in 1976 (next one will be 2038). I used to be into astronomy with an 8 inch SCT. Havent dragged that out for decades.

I mentioned this in a different thread but AMS2 needs more race countdown audio options, as accessibility options. Sure i can enable the on-screen lights but that is immersion breaking. Give players an option to keep the original one in AMS2, but also add one loud as this, everyone will be happy.

Weird experience to max everything out, full grid at dusk and still have massive performance overhead out of 80fps in VR. Supersampling up the yingyang as well. The optimization is something else...(well besides the headlight thing of course)
