In Steam "June 2026 Development Update - Pt1" the image after the text Barcelona 1999 & 2001 is not visible.

If you take a Closer look to ams2 content addition i realize that Reiza make a remaster of a lot of Classic Racing SIM : Revamp of the 2001 f1 class (GP4), endurance 2005 GT (GTR2), CART (Indycar Racing 2), its sensational !

I was expecting the cars after the teasers, but I'm also so grateful for more historic tracks. The Indy F1 layout is a great addition for a realistic season

Glad I'm not the only one. It's a relatively small change, and some could easily argue it's the worse layout - but it at least adds immersion for any 1990s/early 2000s F1 seasons (and IMO it is the better layout)

Formula cars aint my "cup of tea". But as with every dlc i will buy it anyway to support and show my appreciation of Reiza.

"The Renault F1 cars are supposed to get some formidable opponents in the sim just like they did in real life – this is what we are still pushing to work out in time for release."

So Mclaren are playing hardball on the MP4/20 and MP4/23, as there are no images of either in the screenshots.
Time to send "DaBoys" round to Woking for a bit of "Convincing".

Was wondering the same, AI with safety car causes a safety car cascade due to running out of fuel, which makes it unraceable. Need to test again to see if it's fixed.

Reading "Imola 2005" and having actually attended that GP in real life definitely brings me back good memories. :)
Can't wait to be able to re-live it again from the track perspective!

Who could argue it's a worse layout?! It was miles better than the current detour through the car park.

I'm very much looking forward to everything but this has suprised me the most because I'd never thought about this:
"The atmosphere is not all set at racetrack level: grandstands also used to sound different back in the day, with air horns at the peak of their popularity before their general ban from sporting events in 2010; they can be heard again coming from the grandstands in most 2001 & 2005 tracks and will even rise up in volume in reacton to something happening on the race track – the first step towards more dynamic crowd interactions with on-track action, which we will be incrementally building on over the remainder of the year."

I think it's a great feature because it further adds to the immersion.

Thank you, Reiza, and keep it going!

Even though formula cars aren't really my thing I think this is all very cool - congrats on securing another license and I loved the passion you could read from the description of the F1 eras. Made me remember some good times.

Can't wait for all of this!

Nice to see that they are focusing on the AI and fuel. Hope it does not only work on the formula cars, but it also work on other cars. I really want to drive a longer Le Mans race without AI retiring due to running out of fuel

Really happy for the Indianapolis 2001 track. Very different road course that F1 raced at in the 2000s and we can race the CART cars in a fictional Indy 500.

Also props to Renault and Reiza for having the 2008 F1 car in. I would have thought that Renault would have some reservations about that, but apparently not. Great job all around!

Would AMS2 be the first game ever to (officially) feature the 2008 Renault?

Whenever these updates drop I feel like a kid at Christmas. There is always something unexpected that is an awesome addition.
Excellent to hear there is more 2005 content coming as those are some of my favorite cars as well! And I see this as Pretty much confirmation that limited tire sets are coming eventually too. Was afraid they would drop it at some point :)
