I guess this is the correct thread to ask and hopefully the comment wont be removed.

So... Maybe the McLaren update is cancelled and will come together with the 1.7?

If we get a bigger update with different type of cars, why not

    Of course.

The problem is like always, the lack of communication.

I don't think so. Update 1.6.9.95 will be released first, by the end of August, and 1.7 will presumably be released between the end of October and the beginning of November. Looking back, Reiza has never let so much time pass between updates. There will definitely be an update in between with a few more new features than the developers planned. I see 1.7 as a sort of new era for Automobilista 2. There will probably be a first implementation of the career mode and who knows how many new features. I believe Reiza can and should continue developing this game for a long time to come. It has solid foundations and graphically it's on par with more recent titles. With the release of the Zero to Apex Mod and the historical career developed by Reiza, AMS 2 will be unique in the simracing market. Despite the multiplayer-oriented games that have sincerely tired us.

As someone who spends the majority of their time doing single-player racing. I really appreciate the amount of effort Reiza are putting into improving the AI and adding new options and features for the single-player mode. The mid-race saves are what I'm looking forward to the most as there's so many endurance races you can re-create in AMS2 that you just can't do in any other sim.

Saving in-game is vital for me to gain greater immersion in the game.Do a 2-hour test where variables such as tire and fuel consumption come into And fuel is very important to give greater importance to race strategy where it really matters. I'm thinking of Endurance or Formula 1.

I would like to think that they are preparing something extra along with the McLarens as a surprise, but I'm just purely guessing. The wait would be much easier if they would just hint there is a little new thing for us or smth. Just a very little explanation why the 1-2 weeks became already more than a month and counting.

But the good thing is that Reiza never dissapoints, so...

I agree 100%. I have no doubt that Reiza is working on something good because she never disappoints, but sharing a few lines that shed some light on what we can expect in the next update would definitely be very helpful.

We're all excited for what's coming next, but don't lose yourself in too much hype. We don't know when the McLaren licensing update comes or if the plan of 1.6.9.95 even is still on, we don't know when 1.7 will drop and if the first career mode iteration is in it. In software development a 0.9 is not automatically followed by 1.0, so Reiza could also do a 1.6.10 update.
I'm really looking forward to all that is announced as content and features, but I think it's better to stay calm until the Reiza social accounts get active again with new media that always indicates a new release coming soon :D

It also makes it more convenient if I'm in the mood to play a longer race, but don't necessarily have as much free time (work or other stuff). Definitely one of the features that interests me the most too.

The skin packs recently released on Overtake for F V10 Gen 2 are simply excellent, especially those covering the 2001 and 2002 seasons. The fact that it includes a separate skin for the upcoming McLaren MP4/16 only increases the anticipation for its arrival in AMS2 and to be able to fully enjoy these mods.

On the other hand, I think the addition of the Balance of Power (BOP) editing feature is one of the best additions in the latest update. I've been working hard setting this up for F Classic Gen 4 and have had a blast in my custom championship over the past month, while I continue to wait for the new McLarens for the 2000s.

Renato, would be the Formula Vintage cars revised? Since these cars were released, the heat transfer from the brakes to the rear wheels seems to be too fast, or too strong, making tire's pressure rise and rise whatever you do to try to control it. Even opening the "Rear brake ducts" at 100% doesn't change the situation (I'm not sure if these cars should have brake ducts anyway)

Another detail to point is the lack of front anti-roll bar on the Model1 (Gen1 and Gen2). I don't know if it was a mistake or it was done in pourpose (detail in the attachment).

I’d also take the things listed in the OP with a pinch of salt until you see them on official patch notes. Road map isn’t a set of promises it’s an ambition for the year.

It will arrive with the 1.7. When? I think sometime in October or the first half of November.
