Well, better polish the things we have and when that's done go on and release the new content. I can wait.

A lot of content/features is possibly coded/modelled right now anyway and it's in a varied stages of completion. It could be that it's 95% done behind the scenes with some areas done but pending other surrounding content/features. So who knows, maybe they can :)

I think "barely anything" is quite harsh. We actually got three quite big updates for 2026 so far which also include tons of preview 1.7 physics:
    • March v1.6.9.5 - 2 Formula classes (3 cars)
    • June v1.6.9.8 - 3 Formula classes (8 cars), 6 historic tracks
    • July v1.6.9.9 - 8 Historic Endruance cars
Still on the way (including v1.7 and the first iteration of career mode)
    • Formula McLaren (maybe ongoing licensing issues?)
    • 1960s Can-Ams + 1970s Le Mans prototypes + 1970s Group 5s, along with several circuits from that era
    • 1990s British Touring Cars
    • 2005 German Touring Cars
    • New Modern Content
So of course it's still a packed roadmap if they want get it all out this year, I wouldn't be surprised if some of it will be pushed to 2027. But birdies claim there is currently stuff going on in beta branch, so I guess we will get the next devblog and update soon. Have in mind the last update was just 7 weeks ago, it's not like we are left in the dark for a long time :)

When I mean barely anything is in comparation of what is in the roadmap and the time of the year left. From those updates I would say that only the June one was a mayor one. And there is more stuff. Not only the content. The career mode, the LFM thing, the marshalls, the new qualifyng rules and many more things. The McLaren thing is something that all of us understand.

And hey, If they release the 1.7.0 with 4 DLCs I wont complain, better, It's gonna be like a new game. But from the point of view of the average player I dont know If that would work.

    @AlvaroGTV
I see your point. Obviously the development is not compliant with the early roadmap of this year, but this was explicity stressed by Renato...it could come different. Bit sad but not unusual and I'm pretty sure...some exciting things will still drop for us.

2005 german touring cars, does that mean we do not only get the Audi A4, but also the AMG C-Klasse and the Opel Vectra GTS?

For now, the hidden files only include the Audi A4 of the three you mentioned. But it's likely that we'll have the entire roster, if not immediately. But we'll have to wait for 1.7. And since there's no news, I have no idea when it might be released. Reiza needs to improve his communication. It's a fact. Renato's last post was almost two months ago. There's no point in anyone getting offended if I say this or thinking that I just want to cause trouble. Here we all try to give feedback to improve the game and not only...

Guys we do this every time.

Have some patience. This isn't an early access game. You haven't already paid for the content you're expecting to have already and there is so much there as it is now.

Every time we agree that it's better to wait for content which is 100% finished and tested than get something broken and rushed, but still we see the same people complaining in the same way all the time. Does anybody feel AMS2 is short on content?

If perceived delays on content for a video game which you haven't yet paid for upset you so much I advise you to learn some mindfulness and learn to live contentedly in the now instead of trying to live unhappily in the future.

We live in a culture of "want > have". No matter how good are things we already own, we need more and more.

Communication from Reiza is top notch, what's bad are the blown expectations that no amount of communication can fix.

No one is complaining about the lack of content. We complain about the lack of communication. If you say that the next update is in one or two weeks and then We dont have any news of you in two months I think that We deserve an explanation.

"Hey guys sorry about It but We still have some license issues and the update is going to be delayed for..." Or "Hey guys We changed the idea because We thought that would be better If We release the update in winter", or "Hey guys We found some issues with the physics of the new cars and we are going to need another month to fix It".

Develop a game takes time but do a note like this takes five minutes. Maybe not even that.

Well if you're not a Mclaren/ F1 enthusiast, the wait is much easier. Just like I don't care when new touring cars or even 1.7 come out and can easily say guys just have some patience on my "high horse".

I don't know how long you are following AMS2, but Reiza ran into big discussions with the community in the past because when they made promises for release dates that fell apart. That's exactly the reason why Reiza usally don't promise dates anymore and the two weeks thing is another great example. Things change. But once you give community updates you will be trapped in the cycle of explaning over and over again when target dates move many times in a row. It's actually the better strategy to give us the next update on upcoming content when the the next dev cycle is near completion and the patch is really coming within a week or two.

For more communication and insights we would have to be in the paddock club, pretty sure they have more details what is going on behind the scenes. But until the gates might open again, we will have to live with waiting for the next dev posts when Reiza is ready

Their open jobs mentions a community manager, so there might be shift upcoming with how Reiza can communicate with us in the future

For this moment, I so hope the Mustang GT3 and the Milano V6 GT3 will be added in the future. And I promise on everything I won't wish for more GT3s xD As for this upcoming update, I still have patience left. Just take your time Reiza!

Maybe its just me. But, we already have so much contents. That i can’t really complain or need to know what coming next. And we just got the last dlc last month. So, i don’t anticipate something sooner.

This plus Corvette C6.R GT1 and Ford GT Matech GT1 (2010) for me

Maybe too the SMS GT3 gen2 (2011-2015) from PCARS2 in homage of 20 years of GT3 racing if possible.

And when the new content is available, greed for the next content will start again, greed will once again be the downfall of man.

Its absolutely normal human behaviour. People always want what they dream of and if they get smth what they wanted, its on to the next thing. One might interpret it as ungratefulness if they put dark tinted glasses on, but its just human nature. No need to be all high and mighty about it.

Also, you guys seem to treat the forum as one single person. Its not. Its a collective of people. Some dream of GT3 cars, some of F1 cars, some about tracks. The one dreaming about one type of car has probably been waiting for that patiently months or years, never getting what he dreamed of and still waiting, hoping.
