More reasons why the possibility of modding Pcars2 tracks into AMS2 makes me excited. I need to re-experience that "unadulterated opulence" with the new IndyCar mod.

 

I doubt there will ever be a merge because everyone wants different things out of their racing...

Some people really love hairpins or fast flowing chicanes...

For me one of the biggest things when watching racing is the onboard shots of the drivers going through all the different corners and keeping a flow... Something that 2-5 corners just never gets close to replicating... This is what keeps me entertained during boring races at the best tracks in the world...

Watching the Indy 500 has become more interesting to me than an F1 race where DRS ruins the racing... But onboard shots of the 2 different disciplines do not compare in the level of interest I have... It doesn't convince me to watch more oval races, and if there's a Formula E, BTCC, V8 Supercars or WEC race on I'll be watching that...

It's all subjective in the end... So just accept it for what it is and enjoy what you enjoy...

 

Indycar at Knockhill...It could be the funniest thing ever to happen in sim racing history. However, any mod must replace Beatson's Building Supplies adverts with Larson's Biscuits. It's the law in Scotland. Probably.

 

Wait really? lol. Like you said before, Indycar have the habit of shooting themselves on the foot since the split

I mean we do have the caddy dpi and I believe we might get another dpi in the future and hopefully some fixes like dangling parts in the caddy (maybe some hood damage)

 

Exactly. There's already a lot of content. I could see IMSA wanting a dedicated sim, but right now, who, other than iRacing could provide the structure? AMS2 has everything endurance events need.

I wonder if we get any modern GTP reiza will mix it together with the Cadillac DPi in the same class, GTP and DPi are prelly close in performance. I saw today an upcoming DLC for Raceroom with the Mazda DPi, oh boy how I wish this one would come to AMS2.

 

lets get loud to get this!! Sebring and Lemans Current and historic layouts... come on REIZA you can do it!! thats why we love you!

 

It only need to allow more than 32 cars on the track

but I imagine this ain’t simple to work around, would need several optimization improvements for that and maybe something like limiting the amount of visible cars like we have in RF2 and ACC and idk if the game have simpler car models for cars that are far away

But even with the number of cars limitations I believe it could make some awesome IMSA experience

 

There are at least 5 Mazda racecars I woulda kill to have in AMS 2

And that includes their DPI

 

Oh boy I would absolute love to have LMH and LMDh added

 

I propose the endurance superpack:

• Le mans
• Sebring
• Road Atlanta
• Caddy lmdh
• Porsche 963 lmdh
• Any other lmh/lmdh reiza can license

 

Reiza currently have the BMW license so i believe they might be able to get their LMDh

I woulda love to see them getting the Ferrari Licence thought not only for the lmdh but for other classic cars as well

same for Peugeot (905 and 908) and Toyota (88-cv, 90-cv, TS010, TS020 "Gt ONE", Super gt cars, etc)
