I can see it being a problem, when you crash at 50 kph and the car splits in half and no other manufacturers car does in the game. But I think this fear is overblown.

 

That's indeed true. You will never see a game that allos brand cars to disintegrate and crush the driver inside. Btw that would make the game PEGI 18, while PEGI 6 is obviously the target since all titles in the genre aim for that rating. I would also assume the average player target field to be around 15.

I remember Flatout 2 circumventing that issued by not only making all cars fictional but also making all drivers to be actually crash test dummies.

Honestly that was my bet, sometime in early April and maybe even without the Sudes. Something like how Spa 71 went

Things got pushed back, the missing drivers bug (along with various others) and getting the 71 Nurbergring done with the Sudes were top priority. Not to mention the well deserved rest they took at the start of the year after the big crunch.

Don't take these too seriously, everyone here knew things weren't gonna fall into place in that exact way because game design isn't that simple.

Honestly it is taking longer for Reiza to finish the Ring than it took to build the real track in the first place.
My bet is spring but I am not going to be pinned down to a year.

As much as it would be fun I think it's best Reiza focuses on production of the real content currently in the works for reasons you can guess

I don't mind waiting for update, it always paid off, but it would be nice if Reiza could occasionally provide at least visual teaser on social networks of what we can look forward to.

 

I would love a dev update where instead of talking about future content, they just write about the creation of nurburgring 71 as that would be a fascinating read in its own right

 

I always thought that the dev update would be at the end of April. Didn't they say they would release the update in even months before? But the release update may not be so timely, it may be released anytime it's ready.
