Shame about yet another delay for the Nurb, but expecting it to be a top notch work. One can dream it comes with a period car as well, even a generic Ferrari, Ford, Porsche or Lola would suffice IMHO.

All developers should introduce "it's ready when it's ready" approach, meaning it's released when it's actually completed. Some minor tweaks are permitted to improve AI lines or some minor kerb adjustments for example. It's impossible to test all scenario and variations given the amount of content available in AMS2. Some minor things can slip, it's not unexpected and hotfixes are just for that scenario.

SCS Software does it with ETS2 or ATS and they tease with new content and updates and then the update unexpectedly drops once SCS is happy with it. It's such a good way of handling user expectations.

I know there's a lot more moving parts in an actual sim title so it may be more complicated here, but if possible it would be a vast improvement.

Having said that some people are still unhappy that something didn't made it, but hey, some people just can't be pleased.

If that was the case then the oval content should still not have been released because Daytona is still a broken mess no matter what car class you choose, the AI is either way too fast, or way too slow, and behave like they are on a road course.

Maybe there shouldn't have been any time and money put into making oval content if this is the state it is for nearly half a year and at this point i strongly dout it will get better.

I was wondering if a Steilstrecke version is going to be included. It's a section of the Nordschleife that is no longer used today but it was in the past. The section shortens the total distance between Klostertal and Hohe Acht by 940 m and bypasses the Caracciola Carousel.

I think we should raise the bar.. Microsoft has done the world with MSFS.. Any race track anywhere should be possible.

But then have you seen the actual up-close detail ? Or better yet, lack there-of ? No point having "anywhere" when it looks like it came out on the Commodore 64.

Yeah it really shouldn't have been released, but that's a lesson Reiza has learned from.

But my question is what do you think Reiza is doing? They're delaying it because it isn't up to their standard, if you can come up with a more reasonable explanation then I'm all ears. Like one example doesn't disprove that buy and large they take their time to do things right, just that they made a mistake. When Reiza doesn't take the time needed it's bad (ovals and the new years update) and drags everything out longer then it would've been originally.

Can Reiza win with some of you guys? Reiza actually spends time with something to do it right and the first thing that comes to your mind is "what about X? what about y?" And you wonder why crap like ovals remain subpar, why half of the season pass got released on the last day of 2022, and 25% of it got delayed into 2023. Yes, I would love for ovals to be better and yes I would love 70s protoypes but I come in with the understanding stuff takes time and that they might have different priorities than me. Ovals probably stopped being a priority because they had bit off more than they could chew and had to focus on other tracks, cars, etc. That's the situation, and it's one that I don't envy even if it's self made its still a difficult problem to be in and I still feel bad for them.

It's okay to criticize, that's what I'm doing right now. I've talked about my problems with AMS 2 many times here and will continue to do so when I see fit. But I'm not gonna come in and rain on everyone's parade when Reiza is doing something right. And if someone's doesn't like my criticism I'm not gonna cry "what I'm not allowed to criticize?!?!?!?!?" I'm either gonna move on with my day or elaborate. This all is so silly, including the fact that I'm even responding. We're adults here we have better things to do then be grumpy and argue.
