    It would be a dream to simulate with 64 AI cars in one race.
    I hope that one day Reiza pierces this blockage in the Engine and puts I hope that one day Reiza pierces this blockage in the Engine. It's what I want most, more than the Le Mans track.

    It could be multiple things:

    1. the server owner decided to select the option for cars to be ghosted during practice/quali (can be changed configuring differently the server)
    2. the cars of newcomers are ghosts when they join the server until you return to the garage the first time since they joined (can't be changed)
    3. a given player has a very long/unstable ping (can't be changed)

    Would Automobilista 3 come with Unreal Engine 5 be a good choice

    I'd go with Unity to open up the possibility of an iOS / Android port. :p

    This also happens because you joined the lobby whilst they were on track...

    They won't see you at all, but you'll get a ghost appearing too late for you to change your thinking to that they can't see you...

    It's like the big yellow blocks in rF2...

    Not just online. The ghost effect cannot be switched off in single race either.

    I´m happy to one opponent if it´s good enough and meet my skill level.
    Tight, equal competition is best.
    Maby someones like start at the end of row and pass all 64 AI cars if that gives satisfaction what you need.

    Then it's your settings: there is an option in the menu to activate/deactivate ghosting during practice/quali

    I think he means the extremely bizarre choice made by Reiza to disable collisions when cars are joining or exiting the pits.

    It was not like this before. Why was it implemented? This makes no sense...

    When did they change it? Been extensively using AMS2 for a bit over a year now and I thought it always was like that.

    I always assumed it was because they hadn't figured out a way to not have the AI crash into you when leaving or entering the pits :D

    I actually wish it would work like that for now as I love the old Kyalami track and it seems I always get taken out by the AI entering the pits on cooldown.

    Well, if the reason you mentioned is correct, then I shall teach you guys a new word in brazilian portuguese: gambiarra. Vaguely translates to "workaround", but the bad kind such as:

    I think it shoulda been configurable

    all though the reason for ghost in pitlane is to avoid cases of ai hitting you when you are pitted like it happens on Rfactor sometimes

    There is no option to configure.
    If it was only in the pit box, it wouldn't bother me so much. But it also happens on the track. If it were up to me, I'd banish the game completely.

    Ah yeah, I’ll agree with you on this one it’s odd

    I can see maybe this being useful online to put lane exit incidents but on single player it makes no sense

    Wallace acalma um pouquinho cara, eu queria correr com 60 carros tanto quanto vc, se a impaciência e tão grande usa o mod lá de 60 carros

    mas nao precisa ficar direto fazendo spam, tenho certeza q os caras da reiza já viram e considerando que eles disseram q endurance terá foco nas atualizações futuras, creio eu que eventualmente vai ser implementado oficialmente os 60 carros no jogo, o problema é q não é algo simples de fazer, essa modificação teria q incluir atualização em várias pistas pra poder permitir isso, por exemplo spa francochamps precisaria do traçado de endurance com a pitlane mais longa, outras pistas não teria pitlane pra 60 carros, e fora os bugs de ia e performance que implementar 60 carros de forma apressada ia causar. Negócio é ter paciência e não desesperar, creio q uma hora vamos poder brincar com 60 carros em multiclasse em Le Mans.

    It is somewhere, probably in the general realism menu if memory serves me well. Will look it up when I fire the gaming PC.

    In and out of pits has always been there. It is in almost every sim except RF2 AFAIK
