I'm not at all looking for Rally Cross. I get the inclusion of stadium supertrucks if they just add a few ramps to existing tracks and the trucks themselves.

There is Rally Cross to be had in Dirt Rally 2.0 and PC2 - these games are/were on sale for a few euros 4 times a year. There are 13 (!!) Rally Cross tracks in Dirt Rally 2.0 and 27 rally cross cars (!!).

    The tracks:
Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, UAE
    Mettet, Belgium
    Trois-Rivières, Canada
    Silverstone, England
    Lydden Hill, England
    Lohéac, Bretagne, France
    Estering, Germany
    Biķernieki, Latvia
    Hell, Norway
    Montalegre, Portugal
    Killarney International Raceway, South Africa
    Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain
    Höljes, Sweden

And this for only a few euros!!

Why do we think AMS2 with a few cars and a few tracks is going to offer a better experience!? I think its a waste of resources to develop this area and physics, when so many other areas need focus and development (asphalt, oval). Its a question of a lot of options and a master of none. So much effort and very little reward.

I would rather Reiza would focus on its core experience and making that the best that it can be.

You forget, perhaps, that your tastes are not shared by all.
I could tell you the same thing for the super trucks: you have them in AMS1 which is not expensive most of the time. I consider super trucks to be just a fantasy and don't want to see Reiza wasting resources on it.
In the end, Reiza will do what feels best to her. And people will buy or not.

Tastes. Sure. But... from a logical perspective it wouldn't make sense to branch out into a whole new area with minimal content and an experience, that we all know, is "going to need a bit more time".

maybe you are right. But is the super truck a discipline that gets the crowds going? I don't think it sells better than rally cross, maybe not less either. But, in my logic of diversity, I could try...but it's low in my wishes.

I'm not pushing for the supertruck content. I highlighted it as a logical "extreme off-road" choice, where you could quickly recycle a lot of existing tracks by just adding jumps and thus offer quite a broad experience - smth that you could really get into, rather it being a very limited side step experience.

    Adelaide:

    Long Beach:

    Road America:

    Watkins Glen:

    Indianapolis:

You could probably do Monaco and it be compatible with a lot of future US and Australian tracks like Mid-Ohio, Nashville, Exhibition place, Surfers Paradise, Portland, etc

That would be actually a huge challenge similar to karts to simulate.

Very small and hard wheels, no suspensions and small chassis...but seems to obviously produce downforce so there is that :D

Do you really think I need a trackmap to learn a race track? You need it to safely return to the race track or to visualize where to come out after a pit stop on the race track etc. The current trackmap is unfortunately useless for almost nothing. I also know that you can use Simhub which I did for a while. Icb wants to get away from Simhub because it is very resource hungry.

Only dirt content i wish for is world of outlaws style dirt oval with midgets and sprint cars. I think they could do an amazing job of it and it would genuinely put bums on seats more than rally cross in my opinion.

THIS. I couldn't care less about 3D trees especially it's potential impact in VR performance. 2D trees work just fine, besides I'm looking at the road in front of me, the trees are just secondary periphery.

We need an entire year with nothing but bug fixes. There's enough content at the moment in my opinion.

And still, like 3 years ago, the content modelers are not working on the physics and similar items.

Bug fixes alone don't pay bills or attracts new and different type of customers. I don't understand why a lot of people do not consider the business aspect of making a game and pay licenses/salaries/computers/software, etc...

Not all bugs are related to physics though, and new tracks can introduce bugs as happened with the Snetterton and Imola issues.
Not that I agree with the comment you were replying to at all. As @VFX Pro said, it's all a balancing act.

    Can't wait for Bathurst '83!!

I think that these cars (which I also want) will only be there through the intermediary of modders...VRC for example

Amazing news on the Sudschleife inclusion! Thanks team. Will that include the combined version with both?

Just to show that you can't please all the people all the time, I'd prefer more focused content.

But I agree with you on the Madness engine - I always felt PC2 had great potential but they never 'finished' it. Reiza are doing, overall, a great job of tidying up and polishing a load of things that were only half finished when PC2 support ended up. Some of the great work on making a competitive AI capable of more than sprint races and with customisation options is a great example of this and long may they keep improving and refining it :)

It's not like the content is coming out on time either though.
