Automobilista 2 March 2023 Development Update

AMS 2 already has a track detail option which probably loads lower detailed objects so I don't see how it is not possible to do the same for trees.
And in other sims, like ACC, when you set foliage detail to very low it changes from 3D trees to 2D, and you can change that while loaded in the track, which means it's not loading a new track. I know it's a different engine but it does mean it's possible to do it without space being an issue.
The only reason I am suggesting this is to encourage the addition of more 3D trees for us who want that, without upsetting the peeps who don't want it.

Madness Engine does not support that.
As long as they cannot directly redevelop the engine by having source code access it will be a unavailable feature.

Great game, but the communication with the customers is bad, sorry Renato. I really appreciate the work and progress of AMS2... But reading the information provided by this forum just creates waiting and wating and waiting...

 

F1 Bahrain Qualy meanwhile....

 

As the Formula Inter MG-15 has raced on ovals (e.g. Autódromo Ciudad de Rafaela in 2020, etc.), hopefully the AMS2 version will include oval setups so we have an "Indy Lights" category in the sim.

Well, As someone who has inwardly groaned when a new batch of open-wheelers is released, I've also been hoping for more tin tops...until I decided to commit to the Brazilian Legends DLC. Jesus Christ, what a revelation. These are hands-down my favourite cars in the sim. In fact, I'd argue that they're actually the best cars in the sim.

Now all I'm hoping for is a Legends of F1 DLC... Clark, Stewart, Lauda, Hunt, Mansell, Schumacher...

 

How about including a certain Tyrell 6-wheeler with Depailler?

The ONLY reason I left him out was because his career height seems to be out of scope for the periods covers in AMS2. Other than that…top of the list…just behind Jim Clark

 

That's the exact reason why his DLC would be the best one to add... We've already got period representations of the others... And the tracks that could be added to partner the cars... I'd take them over any others as well...
