I'm also putting my virtual money on R-USA part 4 to have the tracks for IMSA cars. And hoping for a generic stock car as well in it.

Maybe they release an IMSA pack and then USA part 4 is ovals and stock car racing oriented

I will be very disappointed if the USA 4 dlc will not be anything oval and Stock Car related.

:D:D:D:D Electric cars have a really great fan group among us :D:D:D:D
I should had known better. Some names cannot be spelled in car racing communities (real or imaginary) o_O. And I'm the religious one...
Reiza already knew, no room for electric cars here. :D

ps - I really don't have passion for electric racing cars either. It would be a DLC I probably would pass

USA 4 dlc - I would hope more CART \ Indycar tracks. Especially those which were used back in time around 1995 and now - 30 years later. From ovals - maybe Milwaukee, I really liked Homestead when it was low banked. Portland and MidOhio + some street circuit (Toronto, Surfers?) is a must have. IMSA tracks are not that much, never cared about Sebring. Road Atlanta is nice though, but as openwheelers never raced there, not a priority for me.

Hmm, thinking about it, that's quite a lot of projects in the pipeline for such a small team. As far as we know, they've got the IMSA content, USA pt.4, Adrenaline pt.2 and historic Le Mans. That's 4 full-sized DLC's they're supposed to be working on simultaneously. Not to mention all the little other things they're developing in parallel, like the Stock cars, the Formula cars, all the AI / physics / UI / MP improvements, and god knows what else they haven't talked about yet.

That is a massive workload for such a small team. It feels like they're trying to spin the plates while juggling while doing acrobatics. I love and trust Reiza as much as the next person, but it does get me a bit worried seeing this monumental 2024 roadmap.

I just hope they manage to somehow balance everything out, and especially without crunching themselves. :(

I don’t think they’re working on everything at the same time

At least Le Mans historic and IMSA are definitely being worked on in parallel. And don't forget about all the other miscellaneous content and improvements, those still eat time and resources. Even with Adrenaline and USA on the backfoot that's still quite the workload.

IIRC Renato has said that they’re pausing the Le Mans content until they’ve done the IMSA content

Why doesn't anyone expect dallara ir-18 to make a comeback btw?

The license is no longer in exclusivity right? Anyone can get it. So i'd REALLY love for reiza to make another attempt at licensing it. Just the car only, series license isn't exactly necessary.

Shame, but understandable. Pretty sure the IMSA content will bring more players than the classic LeMans.

I keep hearing this argument so many times ... do we know exactly how many people work at Reiza ? What arbitrary number constitutes a BIG team ? Why would team size matter as any argument when Reiza themselves know what they are and aren't able to do, and most certainly already have their roadmap and goals planned long in advance ?

Agreed, and the fact that they have announced that they are hiring obviously indicates that they are growing the team to cater for more capacity

50 people are listed in the credits. That includes everyone who has ever worked on AMS2 for any length of time, full-time or contract, and also includes the internal testing team which I can't guarantee are on a payroll. The forum staff numbers 14 people. Indeed we can only guess, but I would estimate the team size at around 20-ish full-time employees.

Given that a small studio is generally between 10-50 people, I think Reiza can be safely classified as a "small" studio.

EDIT: Definitely not the most reliable source, but it was the only one with info in one place. Look online and you'll generally hear pretty similar estimates [Answered] How big are game development teams typically? (dragonflydb.io)

I did not do those things, but I also haven't received billions in government grants aka tax payer dollars to keep my businesses viable and functioning, allowing me to become the richest man in the world, and then parade around lobbying against other businesses from getting the same handout I did in order to stifle competition.

I also didn't blow 42 billion on platform I single handedly drove into the ground and in the name of "freedom of speech" in which case I actually ban anyone that opening criticizes me, nor did I promise to donate $6 billion to the UN if they proposed a way to end world hunger and then ignore them when they did exactly that.

I'd say Reiza having their own interpretation is one reason why it may not come back.
