Automobilista 2 March 2024 Development Update

RE: AI, i think what sophy is, is outstanding to have everything about the ai parameters generated by neural network instead of developer input like in ams2. My only worry is that the outputs may be a bit like a black-box and it may be hard for the devs to understand why their ai behaves in certain ways.

 

Really hoping that 1.5.6 update drops today. Am I being too optimistic? I think the update mentioned “later this month “, and I REALLY want to take the 2024 Stock Car for a spin with the new tire grip update. Fingers crossed!

 

From the dev text, what I understood is that they haven't provided a release date for what they expect to launch.

 

"Before the big V1.6 update due to arrive a few months from now, AMS2 will receive a smaller update towards the end of this month..."
For me, whenever is ready, not before...

 

For the anxious person, like myself, steamdb is a great way to have some idea of how's the update is going. Staging test was updated two hours ago, and Beta branches have been frequently updated during the week.

 

Do a service for yourself, don't expect any date, week or month... let the updates be nice suprises.

 

Agree but are we there yet?

 

Guys,it's not even the end of the month yet, let alone easter so give them some days till it will be present for everyone's enjoyment.

I actually think the clamor for updates has died down quite a bit. There is soooooo much content in AMS2 now. I love the new stuff on the way, but I can barely keep up with what there is now. I've barely touched the LmDH or GT3 gen2 stuff. Doing more rallycross and RX lately and that's a completely different skill.

I'm like, "New content. Great! I'll buy the DLC because I might actually want to use it one day!"
