    OK, then the G40 in the GT5 category is the comparable as it has the sequential transmission.

    Or the Puma GT5, since it has an open diff instead of the geared diff of the Ginetta, and it has a chopped-off roof for a little extra of that MX-5 feeling :cool:

    Yes, IIRC they switched in 2019-2020 ish. I remember being confused when suddenly the car wouldn't recognize my h-pattern shifter in iRacing.

    Spec Miata (MX-5) is sequential. MX-5 Cup (older) isn't.

    Puma is mid-engine RWD, Miata is front engine RWD. Plus open diff vs torsen diff. Pretty big difference.

    I guess that means that AMS2 would benefit from having a GT5 class with the Puma, the Ginetta, and the Mazda, since all 3 cars have their own driving style :cool:

    That reminds me a bit of the triple M series mod for AMS1. That one has the Mazda, the Mitsubishi Lancer and the Mini cooper. Put the Ginetta and the Puma together with them and we'd have an amazing grid.
