Automobilista 2 March 2024 Development Update

Wonderful news in this update, I thought it had been a bit quiet round here this last week or two and was wondering what might be brewing behind the scenes. Some really exciting content there and as ever the AMS2 experience is kept fresh and lively.
I'd like to add a +1 to the idea of keeping the FUG2 and just adding the new evolution though - all the work has already been done so let's just add another to the garage.

And maybe that could lead to further cars down the track from those manufacturers too then.

 

Okay, so after reading that RD article it doesn't read that all those manufacturers are a given to be included

 

It'd be nice if you can also fix the Replay: a timeline to jump around so we can study, learn. Remove the duplicating bug.
Also features like Nvidia Reflex and DLSS would allow to minimise latency and make the game smoother, and nicer as it would allow to push the settings beyond what's possible now.

I personally wouldn't count on that, this has long been explained as one of the most fundamental intrinsical limitations of the way the Madness Engine has been designed.

DLSS adds ghosting and artifacts at fast movement, it's not fitted for racing.

 

Could be a good compromise for extra performance if your pc is struggling

 

funny but yesterday while watching the 12hrs of Sebring, I decided I'd ask on here today about the chances of having IMSA spec cars that we already have in for instance the recent Le Mans release, and also what about the GT3 spec cars.

 

Some licenses would definitely be too much of a pain in the ass to acquire (cough Ferrari cough), and we certainly can't expect to see everything given Reiza's smaller team.

Realistically speaking, I'm expecting to see the Acura and Lamborghini for the GTP, as well as 2-3 GTD cars (one of them likely being the Huracan). Maybe LMP2 too but I wouldn't bet on it.
