What about some other famous American Tracks like Detroit Belle Isle street circuit it is like long Beach but have different character. And another great track from SHIFT 2, the Miami Bayside Run.

I don't understand why people keep asking for all the tracks that already exists elsewhere...I believe it will be financially smart to have diversity like RRE does, where you have a bunch of unique tracks that are an absolute gem and keep things fresh vs playing the same tracks over and over across multiple sims. Licensing rights might also be much cheaper which could translate into more tracks in the long run.

To be fair, we already have a lot of obscure Brazilian gems in AMS2: you're not gonna find Taruma or Velopark in many other sims for instance, however I do agree that some more diverse content from other countries aside from just the standard big ones would be an amazing addition

Yes, then you can use another SIM.
But historic tracks are rare in other SIMs and should be something unique / a special sign in AMS.

Detroit Belle Isle street circuit and Miami Bayside Run, are very rare tracks in racing games. Even the ones who exist in some games are not accurate neither beautiful. I think Reiza is famous for bringing rare gems in their games. That's why I asked for them here. It will be a unique experience. And in consequence it will make AMS2 even more rare GEM. ;)

Is the explanation of the Livetrack Preset correct?
Looks like it is a duplicate of the Weather Progression setting explanation.
    Probably a place holder

Do we really need these kind of "smart" answers - to an otherwise reasonable comment?

Will we be getting vintage versions of Laguna Seca, Longbeach, or Daytona?

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it - worth noting that the description of the USA pack on Steam and in the Season Pass reads:

Which to me implies some historic tracks and not just historic cars. It would be nice to have some clarification as to whether this is accurate before committing to the full USA pack or not.

Long Beach in particular would fit the Formula Retro content perfectly.

It's not been confirmed either way, but I guess all of these are potential candidates for the historical track pack and not for the Racin' USA DLC:
However, out of all these, only Laguna Seca 1980 (or something like that) would be something truly interesting. Daytona hasn't changed all that much since it was built (just slightly different straight lengths and radiuses), and the original versions of Long Beach look absolutely horrible to drive on.

Look and shiver (1982 version, arguably the worst of the bunch):

I would love a vintage version of Daytona. Being one of the Triple crown endurance races I would find that amazing. It isn't just the back straight but the entire look of the track changes, plus all the curbs are removed.

I don't know if you've ever driven 1980s Long Beach in other sims, but I've always enjoyed it.

And finally, I agree, Laguna Seca would be such a cool vintage track.

Honestly, I hope that most all of the tracks in AMS2 get historical versions. And at the very least all of the DLC pack tracks.

This sentence got me freaking out. Now I'm very anxious to see what other cars join the DPi class. Nice job Reiza

Technically and reglement-wise, the DPi is like LMP2, so there are some contenders already.

Personally im happy to see the GT4 class further fleshed out and presenting the most varied class with 5 quite different cars in 1.2
