Any hints on the upcoming IMSA tracks aside from Road Atlanta?

I suspect Mid Ohio will be one because of the crossover with 'Formula USA'. For this reason I also suspect Detroit (and also because I love street tracks). I've heard Mosport get thrown around. I'd welcome this as it's my home track for marshalling.

Well, Mid Ohio isnt on the 2024 or 2025 IMSA schedule. Id be also very surprised if the major missing track Sebring isnt included.

 

I think Mosport and Sebring but that’s just my guess

 

Here are my predtions for the 7 Car brands coming as well as some predicted cars:

1. Ferrari: 296 GT3, and the 488 GTE
   
2. Ford: Mustand GT3 and the Ford GT GTE
3. Acura: NSX GT3, ARX-05/6 for the DPi and the LMDh classes
4. Oreca 07 (Stated in the last dev log about adding Lmp2 cars
5. Lexus RC F GT3
6. Aston Martin Vantage GTE, AMR GT3 Evo
7. Mazda RT24-P, 787B??? (They arent in the IMSA series currently but maybe added in the DPi class?)
8. Chevy is already in the game but the Corvette Z06 GT3.R?

Im not sure how far the IMSA license extends to past seasons but the Audi LMS going GT3 gen1 raises some eyebrows that DPi+GTE+GT3gen1 classes might get a massive update!

As for tracks we can assume Sebring and Mosport will be added in the IMSA Trackpack (maybe Mid-Ohio and Detroit Steet Circuit or Belle Isle?)

There's no official annoucement, but it's just assumed at this point. If Ferrari really was coming it would likely needs it's own DLC and annoucement all together. It's too big of a brand to not get that kind of hype and attention.

 

Because of the IMSA Partnership they can add the Ferrari 296 GT3 from the Sport Car series.
If you look back at GTR2 for example they had Porsche and Ferrari without the Manufactures license cause they had a Partnership with the FIA GT Championship allowing them to Bypass EA's Exclusive Partnership with Porsche at the time....

Plus if you look back at the Dec Dev log...

They wouldn't be talking about Lamborghini, Fiat, or Lancia...

Probably should have added lambo too. If its in IMSA its probably gonna be added to AMS2....
In fact IMSA Owns The Carrera Cup America, Ferrari Challenge, Mazda Cup, and Super Trofeo.
IMSA is more than just the sport car series so anything is truly possible!!!!

 

KW Studios also got the Ferrari 296 GT3 and so I believe it will also be possible for Reiza

I always wonder if it isn‘t possible for smaller studios like Reiza and KW to work together on licensing tracks and cars?

Reiza and all of us benefit way more from the IMSA collab. We're getting four new tracks and content from seven manufacturers. That's way more stuff from where I'm from. Auto racing is rife with projects that never materialize. We're always waiting for something!
