Just to be clear, there is no such thing as two companies with two different pieces of software "sharing" licensing as a way to save costs. There could be sharing on many things, but not this.

And, as has been discussed many times, there is no "bulk" licensing such as "the BMW license" to include every model ever made or raced from that marque. It would be possible to individually license them all, but it isn't a normal option or available at a discount from the big box store...probably because no one would actually want or be able to use "everything."

And, licensing IMSA (or any other) series does not automatically endow all the licenses required for every car or track in that series. Once again, you pay to play by licensing what you need or want. Just like when you license things outside of a series, some manufacturers and track owners see promotional marketing from different perspectives (read: $$$) depending on their brands and market status.

So, the IMSA deal gives some big clues about what is coming next, but nothing can be assumed until it is announced by Reiza (or even better, released in the game itself since we know announcements also can be deranged by outside forces occasionally...cough...Indycar...cough).

No Ferrari eh? Well, that's pretty disappointing if I'm honest. Luckily there's plenty more to be excited about so my disappointment won't last long.

All this talk about Ferrari or not and here I am hoping for the Acura GTP.

 

The only thing missing for those who organize championships with a standard setup is to have the possibility for each driver to choose the amount of fuel they will start, sometimes it happens that each one starts with a random amount of fuel, this affects the races too much. , with drivers starting with only 1 liter and having to abandon the race, as they were unable to make it to the pits

 

I have still hope for the 296 GT3. I remenber a thing about "latin" stuffs cars in a old devlogs . So maybe Lambo or Ferrari.

But the 1.6 will be huge , so still optimistic.
And if we have Sebring , this update will be already "TAKE MY MONEY" statut for me either.

 

It will be a bit disappointing if Ferrari is missing. Maybe it's not coming in 1.6 but a bit later, like in 1.6.5 or something ? Still very very excited for 1.6 !

 

My guess is Lambo, related to IMSA it could be two cars instead of one. But my guess is that the Lambo GTP is still gonna take some time to show in any sim, their program is so small this year.
But hell who knows, we could have both Ferrari and Lambo at some time, Reiza have been pretty surprising at that license stuff.

 

Renato said multiple times that the Multiplayer is being worked on and updated CONSTANTLY.
