Automobilista 2 May 2024 Development Update - The Road to V1.6 Pt1

I think the change will be more noticeable in cars with little or no down force. Could we ge a hint about that from the testers ?

So I will probably try the formula trainer, the caterhams and my beloved F-Inter. Then the junior and the super old formulas with no wings. Then I will try the G40 to compare it to the MX-5 I'm currently driving on AC.

Please take no offense but the G40 now on Taruma drives like Out Run. A lot of fun, like out run, but still... Out Run.

I would try all those cars on twisty tracks and on carousels like the one in Snetterton or Taruma.

 

The Formula Trainer or Vee at Cadwell Park is always a combo to recommend.

 

Driver swaps for sure would be cool.
I hope they are one day possible.

 

The AMS2 multiplayer servers are not working... I, of course, want to think that update 1.6 is being downloaded))) Pleeease

As far as I know it is only Steam issues.

 

What was I playing last night then. It worked fine with no issues.

 

They didn't mean generally. There are currently some temporary connection issues with Steam. My Steam client has no connection as we speak.

Edit: Looks like about 40 % of Steam's connection managers have been down for a couple hours, based on the Unofficial Steam Status page.

 

Pt1 was on the 31 of May and end August we are still waiting for the Pt2. I respect the process, the more they take their time with this 1.6, the better the quality. But damn, for gods sake, press send on this text or send us a screenshot... anything so we continue the waiting process enthusiastically.

I actually got mods/options fatigue at some point... It's real. Haven't touched in months.

 

I'm trying to defeat a big tiger in a pool full of blood without sucess so far. Reiza can keep working for 1.6.

 

It's a shame that the truck cup is out of date, the current trucks are very beautiful, I hope they update it at some point, both the truck cup and the Sprint Race

 

Yeah... Even 10 more cars on track would be a massive improvement. I understand that the game engine isn't amazing to haggle with, especially with more cars. As we know, Reiza are working on it as we speak. Not saying it will come out in 1.6, but it should be something we are looking forward to in the future.

 

Yes, I know. It's not very popular so I understand Reiza focusing somewhere else, like IMSA. But it would be nice to have an update.

 

Lotus 49c at Vintage Kyalami b/c it is bit of a standard for me.

The trainers feel excellent and if you like the fastest racing cars ever, the Formula UltimateG1 is an amazing experience in a narrow track like Montreal.
