I was expecting it today, Sunday.

 

When looking back in time I can remember that first public 1.5 version was 1.5.0.3 or something so tbf it doesn't matter much if beta is currently 1.5.9.9, 1.6.0.1 or in between

In general AMS2 needs more European content. I would love to see old DTM , BTCC and TCRs, LMPs, Clio Cup and Formula Renault, topped up with Vantages and Boatleys.

And there are a lot of good circuits missing. Paul Ricard, Magny-Cours, Hugaroring, Brno, Magione, Mugello, Goodwood, Zandvoort, historical Montjuic...

Its hard to take AMS2 as the main sim racing game when the most important region for motor sport is not really that present.

 

Only IRacing has this natively and AC with mods. Raceroom has quite a few of them, but IMO European tracks isn’t a criteria. It’s a nice to have, but not a must to have a main game IMO

 

I also think there is no criteria for must have tracks, it should instead fit the theme . Would it be nice to have every existing track in the World in AMS2, yeah sure, but that is totally unrealistic unless mod support will receive a big update that would ease the process of making new tracks.

When it comes to AMS2 the character to me is historic tracks and mainly Brazilian tracks, which i as a European never experienced in any other game, meanwhile something like current modern Monza is basically in every existing game ever and no longer has any appeal to me.

 

Everyone has their own preference and things they want to see, but there's loads of European content in AMS2!

Off the top of my head, there's Hockenheim, Nurburgring, Monza, Imola, Le Mans, Jerez, Barcelona, Spa, Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Oulton Park, Snetterton, Donington, a fictional street circuit in Monte Carlo and no doubt I've missed some. Yes, a smaller percentage than some other games but a great number and a lot of those have historic versions too.

Even your list is a rather random smattering; a few modern circuits, Goodwood that is for vintage, Magione a small club circuit and Montjuic which was a temporary track for a few years in the '70s.

I'd say AMS2 is a nice balance of circuits from different regions and I like the depth of their North and South American content. I'd argue Asia is the most under-represented region for tracks, but that's not a complaint - I'm happy with whatever Reiza choose to bring (apart from off road, kart or point-to-point stuff, personally).

 

I'd love a Japanese motorsport pack, it's mad underrepresented with only Suzu- I mean, Kansai in the game as a track, my ideal pack would have these next cars:

• Modern SuperGT
• Vintage JGTC
• Super Formula / SF Lights

And tracks:

• Fuji Speedway, modern and old layouts
• Tsukuba
• Autopolis
• Motegi (Road Course and Oval)

 

The only missing track that absolutely NEEDS to be in AMS2 in the legendary 38 mile Isle of Man track.
Just the thought of tearing through those insane roads in a LMDh hypercar...

 

How do you dare not to put Okayama on the list!

 

I thought about it but honestly I personally don't like it and I think Autopolis is more underrepresented in games.

Best case scenario would be all those 5 tracks included!
