Automobilista 2 May 2024 Development Update - The Road to V1.6 Pt1

This reminds me that I was a bit salty to find out ACC has achievements on consoles but not on Steam...

 

I already did my adulting for today. Now I get to waste time waiting for a game update like every salivating AMS2 fan.

 

how are we so sure that the 1.6 update is real and not a figment of our imagination?

It's nice that you're excited for this update: everybody here is, myself included, especially with the occasional announcements and flames stoked by the few things the beta club have said. That being said though, repeatedly posting about how you want it to come out won't make it arrive any faster (I wish it worked too, but it's never that easy ) and frankly mostly just annoys the userbase; there's a reason you're getting a lot of Disagree/Dislike reactions! Relax, give your F5 key a moment to breathe and let Reiza cook- the patience will be more than worth it whenever it does come out

 

Maybe the wait for the dev blog pt. 2 was the friends we made along the way.

 

I just did a couple of races with the Porsche Cup in beta, it feels more predictable than in the main build, so update 1.6 must be real.
Yeah, I'm the weird guy who spends more time driving Porsche Cup in beta than the newer cars.

 

speaking of Pcup, I wish there were more liveries for both versions of the car so that we can have a full 20 car field without mixing both models.

 

My optimism goes as far as getting the release 1 week prior to the IRL Petit lemans race at Road Atlanta which happens at October 12th. In time for the race-related TTOTW .

Yep! I mostly race in winter. Winter is coming and it will be spectacular! AC Evo is also due, but not expecting it in 2024, unless maybe December.

 

Looking forward to knowing the release date of ac evo. I think we'll have the 1.6 ams2 update on octover, that's my bet.

AC Evo was originally supposed to be out by summer... no way the original estimate missed the mark by this much did it? Steam page still says "2024"

What starts worrying is the fact that no news are coming out whatsoever. We are in September and if "2024" is the release date, even if it was the 31st of December,by now we should have already some gameplay videos of the actual game running, so I would not count too much on this 2024 release, hopefully I'm wrong, we'll see.

 

I prefer that to install a game that is full or bug ...
