For VR Players it would be great if there was a upscaler and maybe built in Fixed Foveated Rendering.

In terms of graphics the game needs two things

Better AA as MSAA don't give perfect result ( grandstands and protection arround of the track suffer from aliasing)
Maybe add DLAA and TAA would give a better result

Better trees shadows beacause they are low res and have a lot of flickering and aliasing

    (Playing ultra with 1440p display)

I use opencompsite and OpenVR Toolkit to add both in for AMS2. It works really well.

I tried OpenXR Toolkit but somehow I like VRperfkit a bit more.

I think I downloaded that one once but never ended up using it. Maybe I should give it a try again.

Search for VRperfkit_rsf there are also upscaling techniques implemented. Downside: it has no UI ingame. Everything you have to setup before starting the game.

Hello everyone, I just had a question about the new update! Regarding the fact it is an arrangement between IMSA and AMS2, does that mean that the official number plates and liveries and such will be in the game too? Is there any news on that? Or do you guys think it is just the cars and tracks?

you can see on some screenshots that some of the cars have the real IMSA numberplates, im just curious how this is managed in the game.

Related: I was just reminded on how well optimized and polished this game is after thinking "hey rally would be pretty cool once in a while again too" downloaded the latest WRC and well. It does not even start. Dirt 2.0 with invisible walls on each side of the track is no better.

I would rather wait a year for the patch than seeing reiza drifting towards ea "standards".

    I´m glad refunds exist...

Foveated rendering does not work properly with Openxr or openvr in ams2. Vrperfkit doesn't launch and with Openxr toolkit foveated rendering results with glitchy trees. So yeah dlaa would be great or fsr to help for Vr performance.

I'm curious to see how they'll approach this too - I hope there'll be a way to split out IMSA and Reiza 'fictional' class plates because I really like the consistent style of the Reiza versions of liveries and want to keep racing those in isolation with the newest additions.

if it doesn't have an Upscaler and Fixed Foveated Rendering your taste is riding the wrong horse ;)
