Automobilista 2 May 2024 Development Update - The Road to V1.6 Pt1

The missing Michael Schumacher sign is really a big downside of the Nordschleife in AMS2 for me.
I already posted it in the Bug report thread.

I‘ve not played AMS2 in weeks & I now I‘m waiting for the update. But in the last few weeks a lot has happens: Raceroom update, ACC added 2024 season liveries, Rennsport added Jeddah, LMU teasing the Circuit of the Americas and of course AMS2 will soon be updated and we get another development update. I‘m hyped for them all!

 

If they add the pit siren, I want the option to swap it with my own MP3's, so everytime I pit all you hear is the Frank Sinatra Lose Yourself AI Cover to remind myself not to screw up...

Yesterday it felt like Summer in England, today we were in Autumn

Looking forward to reading that dev update.

Can anyone in the beta tell us which sim AMS 2's tyres feel closest to, or are they completely another step up?

 

It's moved closer to every other sim on the limit - it was a significant outlier before, even with 1.5.6 -but in terms of normal driving in the end it feels like a sometimes heavily, sometimes subtly sharpened version of AMS2 1.5.6.

 

Parabolica is now also slightly banked (about 0.5 meters difference in height across)

 

Sounds good, like you have to actually drive the cars to be quick rather than slide them continuously (which is like OutRun levels of unrealistic), push too hard for too long and your race is probably over next corner.
