I'm sure if Reiza acquired the F1 license there would be jokes about Reiza releasing F1 26 in 2028.

Seriously, I don't care so much about Reiza getting the official F1 license, if they can get more F1 tracks from current and previous seasons I'm happy. More fictional F1 and F2 cars would be a bonus.

 

Shows how completely out of touch with reality CEO's and leaders of these companies are when they have zero understanding how popular the number 1 biggest motorsport is and how desperate people are for a PROPER F1 game. And instead of making things better EA just keeps cutting corners and expects people to buy it by the millions ? No thanks, i skipped the last two F1 games and still enjoying 22.

 

The last F1 game I bought was F1 2021. The only good thing EA did with F1 22 & F1 23 was to have free weekends, which allowed me to try both games and realize they're not worth it.
Imo if Reiza managed to get all of the current F1 tracks into AMS2 there would be no reason for me to buy the official F1 games.

Reason i want an F1 game is a proper season / career mode which AMS2 doesn't have. F1 22 still best AI, F1 23 is basically the same but slightly better physics.

 

I don't care much about career mode, but I see why people like the career mode in F1 games.
AMS2 doesn't have career mode yet but it's in the plans, hopefully it will be implemented in the not-so-distant future.

 

How boring can a sport be? F1: Yes!

For me, there is already too much Formula 1 in AMS2, across all the decades (except the 2000 V8 era?) and modern ground effect F1 is presented well in AMS2.

 

Disagree , we dont have lot of classic circuits or newones to do a proper season We need more Formula content

 

Exactly. I only want every existing track that F1 ever raced on between 1967 and 2024. I am really not asking for too much .

The F1 game series has been terrible and plagued with the same issues for years before EA was involved. This is, and will always be, a Codemasters issue.

 

So what i found is that the license for the F1 games goes till 2025. with an option to go till 2027.

This guy also seems kinda delusional to think F1 would be given the full license to something as niche as Iracing, F1 rather just have a mobile game than this.

Im playing MotoGP at the moment, and if one developer could pull off an immersive experience, its probably Milestone, they have all aspects of the real thing down now.

 

Whilst like everyone else I eagerly await the update I know the first thing I’ll be looking for in Renato’s dev blog , I know how quickly I might be disappointed that a feature I think is pretty important is either in or out.

I didn't play it, but from what I understand the handling model was fairly competent a few years ago. So what happened? Did some master of the universe EA corpo scumbag try the game, crash immediately, and demand the game be made easier so he could make it past turn 1?

Pathetic. RIP Codemasters. It's innevitable.

 

I tried the free weekend last year and enjoyed the game, except for the horrible VR, which made me not buy it. This year I heard it was the same VR crap, so I'm not even trying it whenever they do the free weekend.

 

Ah me too (2023 was the last i bought) just don't play it any more because it is so inferior to AMS2
