I hope it does, which would mean all goals were achieved and finally we can enjoy the game fully, instead of what we have now (ie: AI always uses the soft compound, AI performance discrepancy, etc).
Once the game development is finished, Reiza could focus 100% on free content and new DLCs.

 

Easier said than done Game development is... unpredictable, to say the least

 

AC is 10 years old and still being "developed". AMS2 starts at a higher level. There are so many optional ways yet to be explored: Nitro, Rally, Can-Am, Trans-Am, Group 5 along with ongoing development. I see at least five more years for my favorite sim.

 

Honestly while there may be many directions that the sim can be developed, i can only wish that it provides enough sales for Reiza to keep doing what they're doing. It can't be easy in such a niche market (let's face it, you're competing for the small set of customers who are willing to shell out for a steering wheel) and it can't be easy relative to teams with bigger names and marketing budgets behind them (i.e. LMU and F1) . I can only hope that we see more marketing through e.g. IMSA for the game what with the collaborations. There's lots of stuff mentioning iRacing in IMSA-related media but i've not seen any on AMS2 despite this latest deal. Imagine an advert before one of the real races, or even a mention! I hope there's more developments on fronts like that so Reiza gets what it needs to continue as long they want to.

 

Sims are never "finished". They are just abandoned by their developer, at some point.

 

They are doing more than fine financially, it was said somewhere in the Nov 2023 dev thread (and this was before the Endurance Pack that temporarily doubled the player base). As long as Reiza doesn't do anything financially stupid like paying for licenses they won't use (cough cough Motorsport Games) they'll continue to be doing well

Yep, the lighting, reflections and overall visual quality of the game is gonna improve, some very nice and noticeable changes.

 

That hype needs to be turned up to 11 in here.

Hoping the Update comes with the new LFM Season in about one and a half week.

With the Oreca LMP2 coming I‘m over the moon & can‘t wait for the update to happen. The Corvette GT3 (it‘s not the GTE as you can see at the rear wing) coming too is also great!
