As described earlier, we are not. What you might be confused by is this:

What Renato means is that there will be four other cars to go alongside Audi, not that this will be an Audi pack. It is the second part of the Endurance Pack which focuses on modern-day endurance racing.

That was exactly the point. Renato talks in the Audi section about various Audi models and it can be deduced that the remaining 4 cars in the dlc will be Audi.

It's not a disappointment by any means Oreca, Chevrolet....
It's just that I thought there would be more Audi cars like the R8, R18, GTO,...

It was just a comment on my part that there was no need to tear my hair out, but I've seen that there is.

From what I can gather from the screenshots given by Reiza lately, the 4 in question is looking to be:
    -R8 LMS E2
    -C8 Z06.R GT3
-??? Unknown currently (My guess is a Huracan Evo based on recent discoveries in the game files, 'Latin flavour' mentions as well as process of elimination)
    -Acura ARX-06
    -Oreca LMP2

The previous part of the endurance pack had a mixture of cars from various different brands, all of which ran in non-historic endurance races in 2023. While Audi currently has a GT3 car that runs in various series (SRO, NES, etc) they do not have a prototype that fits in either LMP3, LMP2, LMH or LMDh homologation. Thus the car pack can't be all Audi's as Renato specifically mentioned prototypes will be in the pack alongside the R8 LMS GT3 evo. As much as I'd love an Audi LMH/LMDh, they decided to focus on F1 instead, so it simply doesn't exist and probably won't ever exist unless F1 is an immediate disaster.

Hasn't that file been in there for months already? I remember some Lamborghinis being mentioned a long time ago along with the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 I think

ALONG with four OTHERS means 5 in total.

Lamborghini is pretty likely, consider they are part of VW Group which has Audi in it as well. which would give us something nice for another supercars pack. but we will be sure very soon i guess.

Turns out I meant the Cadillac, but you can see a prior discussion about it here (along with someone else beating me to the DLC speculation punch, which I totally forgot about )

Car signs don't guarantee anything and are just there for historical accuracy: that's from Hockenheim '88 I think and has been there for a long time, and likewise for example Monza '91 has Alfa Romeo signs despite there being no Alfas in the car list

Yeah i know the SC63 is pretty much garanteed from a Reiza screenshot, but maybe the Acura was somewhere and i didnt see it, I'm still hoping for it hehe.

Just to give everyone an update as this is as “late June” as it gets - Ive been working on a new dev update for the last couple of days but it will take a few more days still for it to go live as this will be a more in-depth preview and we have some bits still to polish on our end as well as some bits to get licensors’ approval before we can go live with it.

We are still several weeks (more than a month) from a release however so don’t hold your breath for the v1.6 update itself nor for a more precise release schedule to be announced before it’s ready for it.

Renato I appreciate the update's update. I'd rather be told something's a month off rather than expecting something that isn't immediately about to arrive.

Agreed, I really appreciate you saying something Renato. As with any dev, things can be very fluid and change despite best estimates, and it's always great to hear an update on what's going on even if the intended update is not actually available.

Really looking forward to how 1.6 drives as well as the improved rain conditions.

Of course, like everyone else, I'm looking forward to a complete IMSA pack, and I'm very curious on what track will be left out from the 2024 calendar for the update.
