Thank you for the detailed reply! I think however I found what I needed. It was using legacy movement set to false and head movement to 100. Then just reduce the g force horizontal.

It seems that when you set legacy movement on true and use say 20-30% head movement that also applies to any horizontal, vertical G force effect REGARDLESS if you have them set to 0 in the menu. It seems to override it.

Anyways i'm happy with it it now. Thanks again!

Hi, I found all the races on JustRace from ReizaOfficial. This is exactly what I am looking for AMS2! I would like to take part in it! But the registration is password protected for all races. Now I have read something in the forum about BETA tests and Paddock Club. Are these the races/servers for this? Are they currently only for a selected group of users? Or what do I have to do? Or where can I find the password?

This really is not the correct place to ask... But they are for the Paddock Club members

 

The races are only for the people with the AMS2 beta. The beta access was available to buy for certain periods, but you can’t now. You will have to wait until it opens up again. That’s not a guarantee though

Big compliments to the art team: everything looks much better and is visually a big step towards realism.

 

I really hope they get rid of those horrible shadows along with the new textures. The resolution of the actual shadows is the only real weakness of the visual in my opinion.

 

I am curious what is wrong with the shadows ? Here set to ultra.

 

Look at them when driving and they will look square past a certain distance which is IMO too close to the car

 

The shadows that bother me are the tree shadows on the track. I don't think it's a secret that the shadows in AMS2 aren't a high point.

 

That was already so bad in pCARS2. As if anti-aliasing is totally disabled in the shadow layer. The problem is probably too deep-rooted to fix.

The performance have to come from something. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have an option to remove the compression so owners of 4090's can enjoy crisp shadows but for most of us it's probably better like it is now. Otherwise we'll have similar posts, but complaining about stuttering and frame drops
