Automobilista 2 May 2024 Development Update - The Road to V1.6 Pt1

Would the Volvo fit the group A? I dont think it raced the DTM. Not that i'm complaining, I'm a sucker for Volvo and specially wagons.

 

2/4 already there as mods

 

Literally any 90s era BTCC/Super Tourer is acceptable to me.

I spent so much time trying to convince my Dad to buy an Accord, lower it and put a body kit on it...I mean any series that could make you have deep feelings for a Nissan Primera was doing something very very right.

 

Well it raced in BTCC so maybe they should add a “Group A UK”

 

A classic era (late 90s) BTCC pack, licensing permitting, would be just incredible.

 

I'd be happy with a fake BTDD series with generic models, although official BTCC blessing would be a cherry on top

 

They would need to be licensed for me, or at the very least extremely suspiciously similar (read identical) copies.

The fact that they were incredibly well known, affordable family cars being absoultely ragged around the place was one of, if not the biggest selling points. Obviously the racing was incredible, but the cars made you feel like that could be you on your way to work, school, the shops whatever.

 

That would remind me the good times of the TOCA Touring Cars racing game.

 

The Alfa was not a group A car it ran at the DTM Cklasse 1 class if I'm not mistaken. Wouldn't mind that class being added though.
The Sierra and Opel are available through a mod for now but becoming an official content woulda indeed be nice
about the Volvo it kinda don't fit group A either as that's callen in game German group A and i don't recall the volvo racing in Germany. But hey, wouldn't mind a British Touring cars pack including that Volvo (i love that box too).

 

There were several different versions of the 155. There was the DTM 4x4 and the Italian and British Supertouring versions that were FWD AFAIK
