    I wonder if there is any chance we are getting this one for DPi.

    Or maybe its famous Le Mans winning cousin, one can dream.

    There is literally no car I want to see more in the game than this. Particularly it's "Soul Crystal Red" version. ugh...

    With Reiza saying LMP2 class is coming back in December, the GTE cars we have, and the GT3 Gen 1 cars we are really only a 2-3 DPi from being able to recreate some great late 2010s early 2020s IMSA seasons.

    I'd be pumped to see the Acura, Mazda, and Nissan DPis join the party, but I also won't hold my breath.

    When did they said that? I think I missed it, I thought they were coming with the 1.6v update

    My wording wasn't very clear. I was saying in the December update it was annouced we'd be getting an LMP2 class at some point. With Reiza recent teaser tweets it looks like we should be getting them sooner than later.

    I am very excited for this update 1.6 Pt.1
    When they mention "7 brands" i think we gonna have Ferrari, Peugeot, Lamborghini and some more apart Audi. I think they aim to complete the LMDH rooster with the Peugeot and Ferrari 499p, plus includes also the LMP2 class. Lamborghini will join the GT3 Gen 1 and 2 plus the LMDH with the hypercar (of course is just my thought). Let'see what's gonna happen.

    +++NOTE+++
    I am still facing an issue at the Nurburgring (short layout) where at the first corner, all the cars becomes ghosts. Hopefully they can fix this.

    Just to temper expectations, remember that the "7 brands" is for the rest of the year, not just the next update.

    We've seen screenshots that include ORECA and likely Lamborghini (as well as the new GT3 Corvette), so we can probably pencil in three/four of the five cars in the accompanying DLC.

    Peugeot and Ferrari are technically LMH instead of LMDH ruleset, though I'd hope they can be mixed together in a GTP class. There's a very interesting car due to debut next January in IMSA which is LMH rules based...

    Given the IMSA focus I would expect manufacturers building cars to the LMDh specification (lambo, alpine, acura) are more likely to be added than those focused on LMH (toyota, puegot, etc.) I know they can compete in either category under these regs but it just feels more likely to me.

    Wouldn’t they want to focus on IMSA first before going after WEC cars? If I was Reiza, I would focus on the IMSA cars first

    I would agree as a first focus, but after that I think cars built to the LMDh specification are then more likely than anything built specifically for WEC using LMH. Was watching a video on LMH vs. LMDh recently and was actually surprised the Alpine is an LMDh car given it's currently only competing in WEC, makes me feel we are more likely to see it on the IMSA grid in the coming seasons than say Puegeot.

    I mean that’s true, but Aston Martin are sending an LMH car to IMSA. I would like to have them all, but completing the IMSA grid should be first priority IMO

    I mean, presumably the licensing with IMSA provides access to the cars that compete in e.g. the Weathertech Sportscar Championship... so if AMR send a hypercar to IMSA and it's an LMH we'll hopefully likely get it, and if Ferrari doesn't then we won't.
