Because Reiza is concentrating on IMSA and the LMDh currently used there due to the previous licence negotiations, that should be clear at the moment....., so I don't give Toyota, Ferrari and Peugeot much of a chance.

Having LMH in the mix of LMDhs gives a stronger reason to have the virtual energy management be open to the users because the LMH hybrids are so different to the LMDhs where as all the LMDhs are far more to spec with each other.

It's the reason why iRacing didn't do it. Cause it's too similar to bother.

I'm very disappointed that LMU dev's have decided to remove settings that should be standard game options of choice (no per-car ffb / super basic sound settings). To me, these are a step backward in simulation terms. I'll likely stick with rF2, warts and all, above LMU.

Fortunately, AMS2 will suite my needs and wants, even better going forward.

I don't see why AMS2 cannot have LMHs even considering the necessary update to the ERS modeling. Reality is by your standard the only 3 cars that make LMU different are the Peugeot, the Fefe and the Toyota because the are native LMH in the WEC championship.
Apart from the cost/opportunity evaluation from the business side of things for Reiza, I see no reason why any of those 3 may not appear in AMS2.
I believe Toyota is extremely expensive and picky so that may have low probability, but as far as Ferrari goes for instance, Reiza already said a year or two ago that there is no ruling out of licensing Ferrari from Reiza's perspective when the time is right for them

The virtual energy tank concept isn't any different for LMDH and LMH cars. Just values of power deployed and total MJ for a tank are different but if you model the virtual energy tank for one it works identically for the other.
From car handling perspective the difference is in the axle on which energy is deployed and harvested and the fact that LMH cars will require a front differential, but that is already part of the sim through the Lancer and always was since the PC2 times

BUT....is there any chance reiza can develop an "inspired" model of these cars with a "inspired" name? Like in AC there is a mod of the Peugeot 9x8 named PAUGE and is actually the same car (probably with some different details). So i think in this way they can develop cars without paying extra cost of big license and expand the series. It's just my thought!

That won’t work well if they’re anything like Indycar

Well you can still improve....i mean...there is always time to improve something. But my question was about avoiding to get license...

That’s what I was answering. Reiza wanted to add their version of the Indycar without licensing it and Indycar got angry

I'm not sure if I get the enthusiasm for Detroit. I'm wondering what you find so good about it that you prefer is over CTMP and how you have been mentioning it a lot. Just wondering what do you find so interesting about it?

Well IIRC it was MSG which blocked Reiza from licensing it

In addition to the question of which LMDh and GT3 models will make it into the upcoming update, another thing is also important for me:
How many grid positions will we have in the grid soon?
because what's the point of all the nice cars if we can't start them together

Hey, while I was talking with a friend about the difference between sim and and arcade some questions came to my mind. Do GT and Forza use physics models for each car in the way Reiza does (once upon a time there was a post from Renato where it was explained how they model the chassis and drivetrain etc.)? And is Reiza limited in there physics models in regards to availability of CPU power and/or because of the engine?
