As in the guy from the lamp?Here are my 3 wishes then:

1. Physics model in AMS2 that's 100% realistic
2. All cars and tracks we can imagine
3. More moderators to tame those people still complaining about AMS2

 

I can only give you one of them since the other two are impossible

 

Speaking about that hybrid update, I see car can move now on electric motor only. Will it be a gate to provide actual EV only car with all its features (actual regen braking and charging)?

 

Reading the comments, everyone is very excited about the new updates to come, especially regarding the IMSA championship.

Compared to other simulators, Reiza undoubtedly has a great diversity in cars and tracks (the historical packs are fantastic).

I would like to dwell on this point Renato Simioni.

There is the possibility of inclusion in the near future to join the pack of historic circuits (Silverstone Pack, Monza Pack, Spa-Francorchamps Pack, Interlagos Pack, Nurburgring Pack, Hockenheim Pack, Barcelona Pack, Montreal Pack...) plus one or two Monte Carlo versions?

For example, versions from (1976-1985) and (1986-1997) to further enhance the Formula Classics and Retro races. It would be just this one (1 or 2 versions) of Monaco for the historic track pack to get a “1000 rating”.

Expecting historic Le Mans cars soon, as well as classic versions of the legendary La Sarthe circuit.

 

Just saw that on Racedepartment (now called overtake.gg) the new main article is „Most played racing games on Steam in May 2024“.

I ask myself if the (separately installed) Beta-version of AMS2 also counts as „Automobilista 2“.
If not: How can you check how many played the Beta-version in Steam?

 

It is great that Reiza has an eye on the blue flag behaviour of the AI, because right now, the AI always fights/blocks cars on a flying lap during their out- or inlap in qualifying.
I also hope that the AI learn to overtake slower artificial drivers by going for the gap on the inside before corners instead of moving back to racing line too early and ramming other car, like it is now on most tracks.

Another thing that caught my eye: Even in longer races, AI achieve almost the same laptimes than in qualifying in those cars I drive the most. So, they either carry too much fuel in qualifying or are not affected by fuel weight/tyre wear the same way the player is during races.

In addition, with cars which offer different kinds of tyres, AI still is extremely fast on slicks when it starts to rain and the track gets soaked. They can stay out for ages whilst player has to pit quite soon for rain tyres.

 

Just saying, if there's someone in Germany who should receive early access for the 1.6 update if you want to promote it it's probably this guy. He's been quite enthusiastic about the sim since quite some time.

 

I don't want someone who is "enthusiastic", because i can make an enthusiastic video too - i want someone who only says facts and straight to the point, gives credit where it is due but also criticizes what is not good.

 

Some interesting updates however no mention of Multiplayer in the road map, which is disappointing.

 

Amazing that AC still ranks high

 

The track is personally spearheaded by Roger Penske since he wanted to move the Detroit race from Belle Isle to downtown so he can leave the wildlife in the park alone due to protests. It was also a response to the IndyCar Nashville street race being popular with the locals and Roger wants to revitalize downtown Detroit since all the manufacturing jobs have moved out of the city.

I think this track is here to stay, that slit pit lane was constructed with investment from Roger and General Motors seem happy with the race.

The track looks better onboard than just looking at the layout. I hope Reiza includes it.

 

Because of mods support for sure, its like the skyrim of sim racing.
