Would love it, but my understanding is that at the moment, only iRacing has official licensing for V8 Supercars

If they could implement the entire V8 Supercars calendar into AMS2, along with some older models (2002, 1996, and early 90's Group A), I'd never play another sim again.

 

oh, where? I saw the video showing how the startup sequence has changed... but didn't notice it explaining the brake-by-wire system - is this the same video? or have I missed something?

GT3 Gen 1 is Imperio based, Gen 2 is IMSA based. LMP2 has already been leaked by one of Reiza screenshots of Road Atlanta. BTCC I doubt it will be of wide interest. I also douobt that Reiza wants to get close to any resemblance with SRO stuff since there would be a pretty obvious license issue with another simracing product.
As beta testers we cannot say more than this...

 

This is what I love so much about the feeling of brakes in LMU: LMDh cars are absolute bastards on cold tires with cold brakes, heavy and unwieldy for a lap or two, but when you lock up you feel you locked up because the wheel becomes lighter and you can feel it turning because the tires started sliding on the road. Even more pronounced in an Oreca LMP2. And always a nice contrast with how much the steering tightens up on acceleration when tires do not skip.
I think you can get sort of close to it with some custom FFB files which remove the overly loud and noisy tire signal present in default and default+ ffb, but it's not as sharp and pronounced.

I might be wrong bit I think that IMSA GPT are pretty much similar to SRO GT3 or WEC LMGT3.
It is good to know that the Gen2 are like that I will surely get the DLC if 1.6 ever gets released

With ACC not getting anything substantial anymore, ACE being a early release and LMU not getting GT3s until the end of the year it is looking really good for reiza in the upcoming months

I think they should deploy the physics asap as honestly the Stock 2024 and F-Ultimate v2 feel superior to most simms while the rest of the classes feel off (but still enjoyable)

 

Need fix the transition qualy to race, the game crash much times

it's the first video in the very beginning of this thread - I hadn't noticed what the three red bars were showing and was just drooling over the electric start motor into ICE shift.

 

If anyone is interested Endurance Brasil is about to start, a 3 hour race today and another 3h race tomorrow at Goiânia.

 

I AM interested! Who should I support? Who's the kind of nearly winning but not running away with it? (e.g. 01 Cadillac for IMSA, or Mclaren in F1)? Also where can we see what cars these are?

 

The championship leader car from P1 is starting from behind because mechanical problems, its David Muffato and Pedro Queirolo who drives it. They drive an AMR.
I particularly like BTZ motorsport team that uses a Ligier.

I did a 4 hour multiclass race with AI at Daytona with LMDh and GT3 Gen2 which i raced in, after 2-3 hours CrewChief told me there were some light wear on the breaks, but they still worked and i didnt change them in pit

 

We found the same when we did a 6 hour race. Near the 3 hour mark, certainly the GT3's were struggling to stop for T1 and the breaks were getting very hot.

 

I can say the v1.6 version of GT3 Gen 2 are worth a lot of attention from user. For content variety and quality including physics
