Let's try to get that one in an historic track pack!!!

 

Some great stuff coming up! I like the fact we will be able to change driver names, all we need after that is to be able to mod driver suits and helmets so we can create full real life grids.

 

The AI modding is what im looking forward to the most! We can finally assign names to the car mods we get too, so we can have full F1 grids with all the real names (along with real names for other series like Sprint Cars, Stock Car 99 and so on).

Also, Champ Cars. Gosh, I melted here!

 

I dont have that problem, if anything it is me that gets swamped at turn 1 on the opening lap. Can't say I have noticed this issue after the first lap either. There is however usually one corner on every track where AI are so and you can get them there every lap. Al long beach it is the last corner.

 

I'm telling you; if you keep this up 2022 will be all about Reiza and AMS2, as your competition out there is kinda slacking at the moment with 'not much going on' in general . Keep it coming boys!

 

I'm with you! It'd be awesome if along with this we get customizable pit box arts too.

 

The concrete and the tower there don't match with any section of Mid Ohio that I know of. There are only a few areas that have concrete without the catch fence, and the buildings would be much closer than in the photo.

With that said, Mid Ohio has a huge historical significance to IndyCar and CART. I wouldn't rule it out, but I'm 90% it's not the track in the photo.

Edit: after looking at the photo again, it looks like water and a boat in the distance. I'm pretty sure this is Cleveland.

 

Definitely looks like Cleveland. Kirtland water crib in the background over Lake Erie?

 

Oh man, those Champ Cars...Indycar Racing 1+2 have been my absolute dream games when i was a teenager in the 90s, i really hope Reiza is bringing one of Nigel Mansells K-Mart livery cars from that time...

 

Try monaco on f1 (not on t1 but right at the exit of the tunnel)

Dis lil sim growin' big...
Exceptional development update. In the previous months, I admittedly did get a little frustrated, because there didn't seem to be that much progress on several fronts of the game, but this update really is a doozy.

AI customization, the physics making maybe the final big step this game needs to be universally recognized for the sheer joy of driving it provides, a ton of incredible new content (is there hope for a modern Indycar, though? Would be great, even if it was "just" something like a "Formula USA" non-license-type-thing).
Especially AI might be the last "groundwork" area where this game is truly lacking consistent quality, to see such a big focus on it is making me very optimistic.

Then, multiplayer ranking (even if just as beta) looks highly promising and could take player activity to the next level - let's hope and see. I'd still like to see some implementation of official races 2 or 3 times per week to go with it, so people get a bit more motivated to try this game out at times of guaranteed high participation.

Excited for the 2nd part in two weeks!

Wow, wow, wow. What an update. Back with a BANG! This all looks and sounds exceptional. Think I need more tea and then a wee lie down (getting too old for this much excitement). Knockin' it outta the park Reiza. Knockin' it outta the park.

 

Woke up to this? Before coffee? Bang on the head! Amazing news. By itself, part 1 of this dev is already awesome! Is there more? love all the AI and physics updates and 4 cars and a track already announced! I cannot wait for more then!

Edit: it is no 4, but 8 cars if you count both variants of the VW cars!

 

I haven’t posted too much and a lot less over the past months but that is simply because I have been thoroughly enjoying driving in AMS2, the ONLY sim I now drive and in VR.

However, with what I have just read and with the forthcoming second instalment in a few weeks time, I felt compelled to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone involved. I look forward to all the developments coming to what is already, a spectacular sim-racing experience.
